Great Location
Hotel is in a pleasant and convenient location about 10-15 minutes walk radius from all the main sites and airport bus, there is also a nearby tram stop over the bridge which is very handy. The local neighbourhood is full of little bars and shops if you want to avoid the tourist areas. Good buffet breakfast and cafe bar. Room had little character or view but this is clearly advertised and it was comfortable and big enough, the shower is a good size but wasn't very warm. Friendly staff. All in all good value I would stay again.

Location. Location. Location. We walked everywhere, from the Old Town to Guggenheim Museum; loved the proximity of the pedestrian bridge across the river. The hotel seemed to host travel groups such as ours (Rick Steves), which is a good sign. Enjoyed the breakfast included in the room -- my only petty complaint was the toilet paper dispenser in the bathrooms! Helpful staff during our stay and great maid service ~

Great location, helpful staff, nice and comfortable. The property is on the street opposite the river and the pedestrian bridge so a perfect location to walk anywhere. Our room had a large bed which was very comfortable and a large bathroom. There was a balcony too so could get fresh air. We had breakfast from the buffet catering to all tastes. All staff were helpful.

The hotel is really clean and comfortable. It is also very well located, within easy walking distance of the old town, the metro, the Guggenheim museum and the bus stop taking you to and from the airport.

Very centric hotel. Personal in reception very helpful. We had an interior room. We understand this, but the room was quite dark,no sun light at all. We had to put the light on most of the time. The bed was okay but personally I found the pillow uncomfortable. Fantastic shower.

Good location, good hotel.
Very good value for money, good facilities, very helpful staff. The hotel is well positioned for all the main attractions in the city and having the Zubizuri bridge in front of it made it very easy to find in a city that we found very easy to become slightly lost.

Conde Duque Hotel
This hotel was perfect for us. The location was great. It was close to the old town and the Guggenheim museum. I would stay here again.

Perfect hotel in central Bilbao
Ideal hotel if driving through Spain, with secure garaged parking. Location allow easy walking , left to the old town; right to the Guggenheim. After staying their as a couple, we booked another time when travelling with friends.

Cultural stay in Bilbao
Hotel was handy to Guggenheim Museum our stay included breakfast and tickets for the Museum we were also lucky to be able to park our car in an underground car park all the staff were very good and helpful

Even though you probably dind´t like the furniture, there is nothing older that 2 years, since we have refurnised, walls, beds and even Bathrooms, but, could be the clasic look we choosed, it´s ok, we take note of it for next time. Decent hotel stay
The room was very spacious and very clean. The cafe downstairs as well as the balcony in the room was a bonus. The staff were welcoming and could speak english well. However, there was no room service, we had to pick up the food ourselves to take up to the room, and the restaurant was open for limited hours at lunch and dinner only. The food was inconsistent, great the one night and terrible the other. The acoustics in between rooms was pretty poor, we could hear when the person next door was showering. The pillows could be better. All in all a decent stay but nothing memorable.

Sorry to ask, but I don´t understend the no room service comment because we do have as far as the restaurants opens, and on the top of that, there is no extra charge. Bilbao respite
We stopped off in Bilbao for a 2 night break after 10 days hiking on the Camino. The hotel was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The rooms are quite sizeable with excellent shower facilities. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which offered a wide choice of fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurts etc. Besides the above the additional attraction of the Conde Duque was it's location. It is very central overlooking the river within easy walking distance of the city centre and most tourist attractions e.g. Guggenheim Museum. We enjoyed our stay in Bilbao and have decided to return for a longer trip in the future when we will no doubt avail again of the Hotel Conde Duque's location and services.

good, modern, clean hotel near city center,
room was updated, kept very clean, AC worked well (it was hot while I was there). only complaint was hall noise, very common in hotels of this period. Staff was helpful. close to Guggenheim, old city, and neighborhood market nearby. a fridge would have been useful to keep water or beer on hand.

Conde Duque was centrally located, and a pleasant walk to all the main tourist attractions. It is close to buses and trams for those further away. The staff were fabulous and understanding of my limited Spanish. All front office staff spoke perfect English. I would recommend this hotel to others

The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was well appointed and very clean. Great shower and very comfortable bed. Would stay there again.
