The property is not "unkept". Thats one of the more ignorant reviews we've received in 7 years. The "piles of dirt" are berms we use from our construction projects to include the neighboring restaurant we built. The berms are in our construction area which is an extremely small portion of the 3 acre property. The pool is never open prior to Memorial Day and this year it's being replastered. Everything else on the property is very well groomed. We prefer this guest not darken our doorstep again.

I see that you stayed in Room 203 on Oct 6th and 7th and our 46 point housekeeping checksheet shows you just wanted towels and trash on the morning of the 7th. As we only stock each room per occupancy per night, we offer housekeeping and replenishment everyday unless a guest wants a limitation or has personal items in the way as my staff isn't allowed to touch personal belongings without permission from the guest. This is a much higher rate of customer service than most any major hotel chain these days.

Unfortunately we're not able to offer improvement ideas when someone doesnt provide feedback during their stay or when they get behind a keyboard. Considering what all a guest gets for their money at our place...its rare we get such a low rating. Its unfortunate.

Actually Adrian...theres no need to alter the listing. I enjoy constructive criticism so we can continually improve the property, but one that is without integrity and a low rating are just wrong. We are not able to walk a potential guest through how to look at pictures and read prior to booking. Any other guest can easily see the fallacy in your review. First...we do not have a log cabin office. Anyone who steps foot in our office can attest to that so you must not have entered it. The pictures of the log cabin are the actual 3BR/2BA cabin that we also rent on the property. Second...there are multiple pictures of the standard rooms on every site a guest goes to. How many pictures of an exterior block building do you need to know that it's a block building? Its older design with a completely modern remodel. A detailed listing of the property and room amenities is also on every site a gues goes to. We recommend you do a couple seconds (due diligence) of reviewing a property prior to booking as you stay at a property not owned by us in the future.

George...it's unfortunate that you didnt bring up any challenges with the room to my management team and therby didnt enjoy your stay as much as we would want you to. The entrance door and door to the oversized wheelchair accomodating bathroom definitely are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair which is 32". The doors are 36". The bed height could have been easily adjusted to suit your needs if you wouldve let us know rather than wait to get online afterwards. My managers were unaware that a wheelchair was present as the person checking in didnt mention it. Most people desire the luxury featherbed topper that adds height to the bed, but I could've removed it.We always try and accommodate guests special needs.
