Great location with good transport links, tram stop and U bahn within very short walking distance. Easy to get to main attractions and many within 20-30 mins walking distance. Hotel was clean and comfortable - rooms fairly basic and quite noisy with traffic if facing the main road - however, as were on the corner, had a bigger room than most with great views down towards the Hamberger Bahnhoff. Breakfast seemed expensive so we found excellent cafe a short distance away (Coffee Seven). Grocery shops a few minutes away and plenty of good eating options towards Rosenthaler Plats and Unter den Linden. All in all would recommend and would return if coming back to Berlin.

Excellent venue at a reasonable price. Breakfast comprehensive and good. One word of warning. I booked a twin bedded room as opposed to a double room thinking we would get separate beds but we were given a room with two beds joined together and no room to separate them.

Decent price and location
Place was nice and clean with a family feel. My only complain was noise at night from the rumble of trains and traffic, but location is decent and felt safe.

Very clean, great location. The street is a bit loud but it is a big city and you can just walk to many sights. Breakfast was good, but they did not have gluten-free bread. Very friendly staff. Would certainly stay again.

A good hotel, near a fine Natural History museum, fantastic dinosaurs. The hotel is a little far away for from the other museums, but great for the bus to Tegel Airport

If I need accomodation in Berlin again, I would consider Hotel Campanille. It is close to many landmarks, the room was clean, tidy and the heating was easily adjustable.

Quite poor for a hotel (I see it more like a hostel-like standard). Shower water was not very warm and came with low pressure. Check in was difficult because the receptionist did not speak much English. Plus, I could not get the check bill from them (to get reimbursed by my job), because "I had paid online"...

Great Value Hotel
We loved our stay here. We booked a larger room overlooking the side road because we heard about the traffic noise so it wasn’t too bad. You cannot get away from the emergency sirens though. They were ear-splitting. The room was warm and comfortable and the beds good. Nice bathroom and tea making facilities. We got a train from the airport to the main central station for €3.40 and you leave the station, turn right and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the hotel, so don’t bother forking out for taxis! A big thankyou to Sara on reception for all the help she gave us with maps and timetables. We had a great time in Berlin and saw all the sights. Really recommend the hop on bus tours. Great value

Updated hotel near to train station.
This is great recently updated hotel. Facilities are good and all staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location fir walking into the centre of Berlin and for transport links. However it is VERY noisy! The traffic noise lasts all night and police sirens are continually heard. I found some earplugs which meant I slept on my final night. If earplugs were offered by the hotel I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!

Good place to stay. Fairly quiet area, but several places to eat nearby. Not right in the centre, but we walked in quite quickly and it is only a couple of hundred yards from the underground. Nice room.

Very convenient location and a great hotel
This hotel was a very good choice. It's got a really good location right next to Berlin's main station which was very convenient for me as I had an early train journey in the morning and I could walk to the station from my hotel. It was also quick an easy to get from Berlin Tegel airport - one half an hour bus journey that dropped me outside the main station from where I could walk. It was also very close tot he Naturkunde Museum undeground station from which there were plenty of connections to the S Bahn from Fridrichstrase station. The location itself was pretty quiet but there were some nice cafes and restaurants around - Balzac Cafe which is a good coffee chain and a really nice vietnamese restaurant. Also some shops. At night after the traffic stops, it's easy to walk from the centre of Berlin - straight walk from the Brandenburg Gate albeit a little long. The check in/check out staff were very helpful. Also the room was fairly large and comfortable with nice bathroom, comfortable bed and decent furniture. The view wasn't great but I didn't spend much time in the room for it to bother me. The only thing was that the room got really hot. When I left the window open, I think it was set to automatically close which freaked me out when i first noticed. Luckily there was a fan which made the room more bearable. All in all, this was a great choice as it was good standard and the location was excellent especially if you travel through the main station or Tegel airport.

The hotel is clean with friendly staff. The rooms are a good size. Excellent location. A short tram ride or 10 minute walk to the main station. TXL bus from Tegel stops 2 minutes away and plenty of other options for buses and trams to other parts of the city very close. The only downside on warmer days with this hotel is there's no air conditioning but a fan is provided in the rooms, although the rooms can get noisy with the windows open.

Good location, could have been cleaner!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and the overall cleanliness was not very good. There was stains on the floor, the mirror was broke in the bathroom (it was meant to pop out) and on the last day the rainfall shower didn’t work. Good location, comfy beds but the overall appearance could have been a lot better for the cost.

A nice hotel with a location in 20 minutes walking to Reichstag building, museum island, and Berlin wall park etc. Tram and subway stations as well as some good restaurants are also nearby. The room is big enough and clean. Toilet and towels are clean. Air conditioning works well. Front desk staffs are nice and friendly, and helped taking care of our baggage when we arrived early than check in time.
