The hotel was a quick 5 minute walk from the train station, which made it very convenient. The park next to the hotel was nice for an after dinner stroll. The front desk concierges were friendly and professional. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular, but got old after a few days. The price was great as well. Unfortunately the bed was hard and pillows were uncomfortable, and there was a fire alarm at 11:30 at night, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

We were confident in the Marriott brand. However, we were placed in a room the management knew had no air conditioning. We spent two nights trying g to keep the windows open with an ice bucket and a water bottle because they refused to move us.

Very nice! but leave the big car at home

Nice modern looking reception Modern rooms including bathrooms Friendly staff - Walls/Floors very very thin, and because of wooden floors you'll hear a LOT of chairs being moved around during housekeeping hours. The main room doors are very heavy, which slam shut. Annoyingly, this makes the glass shower surround shake. Again during housekeeping hours you'll hear this a lot. - The food at the restaurant is overpriced and food quality is basic. - The hotel is not in a great area - the surrounding area is very sketchy, a lot of drunks/drug users.

Room is nice, they just didn't clean my room one time which is the whole point of staying in a hotel. Maybe they need the "please clean my room" placards for the doors

The only convenient factor about this hotel is having a metro station just across the street. Else, it’s lacking comfort where the bed was too stiff for a hotel, it was’t feeling cosy because there was no carpet, and the door of the rooms are very huge so if anyone closes the door without being careful it creates a loud and annoying noise across the hall, imagine that you can hear all other guests in the same floor slamming their doors – very unpleasant! Although, the rooms are fairly big but there’s no dressing table or a decent place to get ready! and on top of all that, they “accidentally” took hold amount on my credit card worth EUR 399.52 and didn’t take a serious action to release the amount immediately which was very inconvenient and created a personal problem specially as a tourist. Moreover, we requested a late check-out and we agreed to check-out at 1 pm, but we were surprised that at 12:30 pm when we came from outside that our room was open and they are already cleaning our room with our luggage inside despite that we were putting the do not disturb sign! Which was unacceptable, very intruding to our privacy and this was a lack of hotel hospitality.

This is a very nice Marriott. Very nice lobby, and the room was new and spacious (we had a junior suite). Very friendly courteous staff. About a 5-6 minute walk to the closest S and U-bahn station, so very convenient with no car. Decent breakfast but a bit expensive: sausage links, scrambled eggs, a fruit tray, a cold cheese and meat selection.

The hotel decided to move us to a 3 star hotel beside their property (Moxy Berlin - sister company) which is a downgrade from the 4 start hotel that we originally booked because they decided to shut down AC hotel Berlin as it’s higher cost for them to keep it open with all the cancelations and they offered us 2 tiny rooms in the new hotel vs the family suite that was originally booked without any compensation offered for the downgrade, thanks Marriott for preferring to cut costs over your customers satisfaction, last time Marriott chain is getting our business.

Indeed with regards to the COVID-19 development in the entire world we made the decission to close the AC Humboldthain Park, just like the majority of Hotels in Berlin, I regret that this serious Virus and our decission to move you to our second Location, next door was not sufficient. We are trying to protect eachother, our guests and in particular my employees. I am sorry that the solution we offered was not sufficient for you and your Family, I noticed you made your booking for 4 persons, but actually stayed with 5 persons, thankfully as we did not wanted to affect your experience we allowed you in this certain circumstance to Keep using our Suite with the amount of People that you arrived with, thank you ! Besides that the Government announced that no leisure stays where permitted within Germany, as you where with your Family of 5 I am not sure if you where here for Business, but we still allowed you to stay. Perfect Business Berlin Hotel
I travel to Berlin every few months and the AC Hotel is my go to place. The staff is absolutely amazing - from the front desk to the restaurant/bar, you quickly become a regular and treated like such. The rooms are nice and modern and perfect for what I need.

The hotel was modern and the receptionist was very nice during check in. She allowed us to check in early which was great after a 7am flight. The room was spacious unlike some of the air bnb’s I had seen around Berlin. The location is handy right next to the S Bahn, we didn’t explore the local area but did go to the Turkish cafe for breakfast on the corner which was easily accessible.
