Excellent small hotel
Had a fantastic weekend stay. Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast and cocktails in the bar. Superb location near funicular and bus stop from/to the airport. 5 minute walk into città alta. Will certainly return!

The hotel was in a convenient location within walking distance of both the upper and lower towns. Our room was well equipped and was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely boutique hotel

I wish we had a better experience but unfortunately there are two reasons for the ok review. 1. I kept finding bugs in my room. When I told them about it they just said that it’s normal for this time of year because they are trying to find warmth and didn’t offer anything else other than did I want something to kill them with. 2. The whole reception and bar area was closed all day with no one there the day before we checked out. They also don’t have anyone there before 7:30/8am. We had to leave early on checkout day and didn’t know that they didn’t have our card information nor did they inform us of being closed or how to properly check out, knowing when we were checking out that no one would be there. Now they are threatening to take legal action because they have only tried calling twice and both times my phone was off because we were traveling. I’ve tried calling 10 times during hours they say they are open and no one answers the phone. It’s really frustrating to not be able to get a hold of them as I do want to pay the bill.

This was my favourite place in Bergamo and Milan that we stayed! We arrived and everything was perfect from the start. We stayed at the Savoia Dorchester the day before and I actually prefer this hotel! It is quaint, tidy, extremely modern, pretty and just looks like a little Northern Italian gem! The location is in the high town so you need to get the bus up there, which is 10 minutes, but it is so worth it. The high town is more quaint while down town is modern and good for shopping. The hotel consequently has a great location, 2 min walk from upper town centre and 10 min bus from lower town centre. The hotel inside is lovely. A wonderful small restaurant and cafe which had amazing coffee and cakes and the best food that I have had in bergamo. The local wine was also brilliant and very good value. Definitely have lunch or dinner here! The rooms are small but extremely well presented with all amenities and designed in a way to optimise space. Electric windows and shutters and a digital audio were a great touch. We could see the furnicular railway line from our widow which was great. The staff were incredibly helpful and even made us a packed breakfast as we were leaving early for our return home. I would definitely stay here again and think you should too 😊

Hotel Fuori was a beautiful boutique hotel. The room was big with excellent facilities and very clean. The staff were fantastic, even found us a brolly due to the rain. The hotel is in an excellent location and very easy to get to all of the Bergamo old town. We came to visit our son at the University but we will definitely be back at some point as we loved the hotel and the area.

Top class accommodation
The hotel itself, the service and the location are all top class. The quality of the rooms and the public areas is excellent and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The quality of the breakfast is good albeit a little limited - but this is probably due to the fact that there are only 6 rooms to accommodate for. The only disappointment was with parking. The website didn't say whether or not parking was available, so we were pleased to be told when we arrived that there was a private parking area, and we were given the code. What we were not told, was that there would be a 20 euro per day charge for this facility meaning that after a week, we had an additional 140 euros to pay when checking out. This was still cheaper than local car parks, but we should have been told about the charge at the start.

The house is very small as you written we only have 6 room, this the reason why the breakfast area it is not big, but the can also use the bistro bar area. Wonderful hotel close to old town
My husband and I loved our experience here. The hotel staff (owners?) were so welcoming! We loved the location, the room, and all of the information they provided for us. Parking is nearby, at 20 euros per night, though when we checked out they let us stay parked for as long as we would like! This is a great hotel and very close to everything in old town.

Wonderful stay in Cittá Alta
I loved my stay at Fuori Porta. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The stay comes with free Wi-Fi and a very good breakfast buffet. The hotel is in walking distance of great restaurants, public transportatiob and all of the beautiful sites in the Old Town area of Bergamo. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Lovely small hotel in beautiul Bergamo
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful three-night stay at the Fuori Porta House and cannot recommend it highly enough. The Hotel is conveniently situated at the edge of Bergamo's Citta Alta (historic old town) and at the foot of the San Viglio Funicolore. It is beautifully decorated and it's stylish and comfortable rooms are ideally suited to couples. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with a "Buongiorno" or "Ciao" as we came and went. We found the Bar a lovely place to end the day with a late drink. A very good breakfast, which included breads and pastries, cold meats, fruit and yogurt, was served on a lovely terrace to the rear of the hotel. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay at the Fuori Porta and hope to return.

What a nice surprise
First saw this as an empty building two years ago and recognised the exterior when searching Expedia and thought it might be worth a look. This really is a great little hotel, only five bedrooms, but has been refurbished to a high standard with service to match provided by the friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely return in the future.

Perfectly located to enjoy the old town. Renovated very well recently and spotlessly clean. OK simple breakfast. The staff we're very helpfull, Friendly and polite. Real shame that the noise from the bar on the ground floor was ridiculously loud. Perfect hotel for young party types that have no intention in getting to bed before the early hours.

Hotel tranquilo, bien situado, correctas instalaciones, personal muy agradable y atento. Su situación es perfecta para visitar Bergamo Alto y justo al lado tiene el funicular que nos lleva al castillo, donde hay unas fantásticas vistas y excelentes restaurantes. Tuvimos un percance, teníamos dos habitaciones en el hotel y perdimos la tarjeta (llave) de la habitación, fue un problema importante, pues el hotel cierra y no pudimos contactar con ninguno de los dos teléfonos de emergencia, como tampoco pude hablar con nadie de hoteles.com, me gustaría o comentar como indicador para mejorar, que estaría bien que facilitaran como en muchos hoteles dos tarjetas(llave) por habitación y mejorar en lo posible la localización.,

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé
Séjour d'une nuit. Très belle chambre design et très bien aménagée. La seule difficulté (prévisible) est le parking, inhérent à la situation idéale de l'hôtel aux portes directes de la vieille ville, indépendamment des funiculaires.
