The hotel room was open when we got there and was incredibly dingy and dirty. Within two minutes of being in the room, we saw bugs crawling on the ceiling.

Great location and clean rooms! Hotel is easily accessible from interstate. The staff was wonderful! Pleasant and professional. The room was very spacious. Decor was pleasing. Bathroom was spacious, good shower, and other than the vanity light could have been a bit brighter, a very clean bathroom. Will definitely stay here again!

A go place for overnight or longer. Great breakfast & Large Gaming slots room. Quiet room. Large TV. Good water pressure in the shower & plenty warm. Bed was very comfortable & comforter kept us nice & warm.

We were only in the hotel for less than 10 hours, a quick stop on a long road trip. But it was a great experience because it was clean friendly, comfortable beds and Delicious hot breakfast.. manager was very helpful and kind

Clean and comfortable stay. The property is well-maintained newly remodeled delicious hot self-service breakfast. Friendly and efficient check in experience. Would definitely stay here again.

VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE Recently remodeled it looks fresh. Breakfast were good quality and available right at 6am on time GREAT COFFEE staff was pleasant and helpful and also great gaming room..

In a downtown part that was seedy. No chart, no clock, no early coffee, bath tub faucet plate missing, shower hard to balance for temperature. Exterior doors did not lock and breakfast area was locked.

Property was run down. Had upgrades going on which were inconveniently placed for storage in hallways and entry ways. Room was fairly clean but the shower/bathroom was disgusting. Hair all over . Shower hadnt been cleaned still had a big spot where soap had sat but never got wiped off!

Oh my!
Hotel rooms under renovation, it’s ok but not great. Breakfast was to begin at 6am, 6:10am the door opened but nothing was ready, the guy literally plugged in a skillet on the floor and put sausage links on it while he squatted there cooking them. At that point we got up and walked out. We picked this place to stay being it was right off the interstate, had connecting rooms (we needed 2 rooms) and had breakfast as we have 5 kids traveling with us. Controlling costs is important to us.

Excellent, Hotel Highly recommend This was a stop on a cross country trip. The hotel was fantastic. It was exceptionally clean. The room was very comfortable. The Hot Breakfast were excellent and the big tv for entertainment free HBO and SHOWTIME the staff were very personable and friendly.

I checked in and went to my room, and the room was clearly occupied by somebody else. So I go back downstairs, and I told the guy working the desk. He was on his phone and barely looked up at me. He was surprised, but he gave me another room. I go to that room and there’s a “do not disturb” sign hanging on the door. I’m not going to enter a room and get shot so I went back downstairs and told the guy, still on his phone. He takes my key and goes up to the room and opens the door. All ok. Housekeeping just forgot to remove the sign. I get settled and want to watch some TV and the remote doesn’t work. So I put some clothes on and go back downstairs and tell the guy who is still on his phone. He comes upstairs with me to check the TV so I propped my door open for safety. He said he’d be back, so I sat on the bed with the door propped open waiting for him to come back. 30 minutes passes. I go back downstairs and he’s sitting behind the desk playing on his phone. I Told him I was waiting for him to come back with another remote. He said his job was the front desk and he was not a maintenance man so I told him to get me another room. This guy was a complete jerk from the minute I walked in. I could barely understand his accent, and had to ask him over and over and over again, to repeat himself. Thankfully, I don’t live in this area. I will never have to go back to this dump with the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The guy just could not be bothered to do his job. ZERO stars.

It was good enough for the price I paid. It looked like they were getting ready to replace carpet with plank flooring which is nice. The place needs a lot of detail work

While the bed was comfortable the room furnishings were tired. Glass and mirrors were streaked and not cleaned properly. Towels were clean but needed replacement. Coffee only available in lobby at 8:30 AM. On arrival in the room, were was a cockroach on the interior side of the door, but did not see any others. Hotel options in Benton IL are limited, may be better off staying in 20 miles away in Mt. Vernon for a few dollars more.

The property does not have easy access. The rooms smelled stale. The towels and washcloths they give you i would use as rags to wash my car. They were hard, scratchy and yellowed

Not the best place to stay
Room smelled bad. Everytime a room door closes it's a really loud slam. Ants all over the counter by the ice bucket. Breakfast selection was terrible.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and both times we had a great experience. There remodel rooms are very clean comfortable new beds hot shower great breakfast.The hotel is in a very convenient location right off the interstate i57

I think this is a renovated property not run by a chain, and so it has some originality and quirks to it. The room was large and clean, and the bed was terrific for a good night's sleep. Microwave and small refrig, hair dryer, everything I needed.

Had a great stay very very comfortable beds specially, the remodeled rooms were very clean and nice highly recommend if you travel on I 57 best place to stay in Benton exit 71 hallway, smells nice room was very clean definitely staying again…

Currently under renovation. Aesthetics were not completed and werenot used in this review. Beds were very comfortable and showers had hot water and great pressure. Shower head was nice and had a full stream of water. Saw work construction crew more than staff. Was not a hot breakfast beyond what fit in toaster. Room was clean and comfortable. Ice machine was small and was heavily used for Labor Day.

It was incredibly dirty. And the smoke detector in the room wasn’t attached and the bathroom amd linens were dirty. The bathroom door didn’t even close. We left immediately and rebooked 20 minutes north.

I was close to my room when I walked into the building. There was a bad odor in the room. You could not open the curtain. And table by beds had dust on them and floor was not cleaned good.

The check in was swift. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. There was a large desk with electrical outlets but they didn't work as there was no outlet to plug the power cord into.

This unit was extremely good value for the money paid. Unit is large enough to be acceptable for a nights rest and taking care of needs to continue trip. It has been renovated to be an acceptable lodging.

Very clean, pleasant staff, specially guy name PK very helpful I would stay there again. I’d recommend it to family when traveling I would check out the location more wish we could’ve stayed longer and plan on staying heading back through to Virginia.

The Best place to stay in Benton il The hotel was very clean, from the lobby to the hotel rooms. The entire hotel staff was an amazing group of folks!! Everyone was very nice and courteous. The room was nice and spacious. I will definitely stay here again!!
