Room was spacious, but a few areas needed better cleaning. I liked that each room had its own outdoor area. Our room was quiet despite a party going on a few doors down. Open dumpster and poor lighting around the building took away from overall experience

As we are in the middle of a complete renovation, it is an unfortunate requirement. I am hoping we will see you again nearer to summer once everything is finished. Nice and convenient
Stayed at the Inn for couple days for skiing. Great location, spacious room, clean and comfortable bedding. It's 2-star place, so nothing fancy, but very good value for the money.

Had a very nice stay in a clean and comfortable room at a very affordable price . The manager Cliff was helpful and extremely accommodating in helping set up a late arrival plan as office would have been closed when arrived! Thanks for a nice stay will likely be back again in future.

Best in Bennington
Nice, well kept motel set back from the main roads. They keep the place up nice, one building was being renovated while we were there. Large rooms with patio or Little balcony. Friendly helpful front desk. Are go to for Bennington.

I have used Expedia dozens of times over the last ten years and everything has always been great. I recently booked a trip to my regular hotel in Bennington, Vermont, but not on Expedia, They weren't listed on the site when i was viewing selections. Apparently, they were undergoing a change in ownership. Iv'e stayed at the Paradise dozens of times. Always a nice, clean, comfortable establishment to stay at. I have always been happy there. On a most recent trip there which I booked directly with the hotel with the old ownership, I had a dilemma with my key. I alerted the clerk who stated he would take care of it. When I came back later that night, my room my door was open, deadbolt sticking out, Do Not Disturb sign on the knob. Anyone could have gone in the room and taken my bags, I had a laptop and cash and other valuables in the room. The mgmt. never bothered to call and tell me they hadn't corrected the dilemma. which was associated with a keycard. They just left my room door open and called it a day. When I complained, the clerk next day said he was informed my family and I were moved to another room, which was never the case. I asked for one of my two night's rate be refunded just to make amends. It took some haggling, but I was given half a night's rate back which is quite unacceptable. The new owners or staff didn't even seem to care that they put my possessions at risk. I would not recommend the Paradise Inn. They clearly show no regard for their clientele.

We are sorry this situation occurred the way it did. However, to be fair we felt we did all we could with the situation. The original complaint was the door would not unlock. We looked at the issue, and determined the battery in the lock was drained. Our associate let you know he would either correct the door (if we had the specialty battery on hand), or we would move you to a different room. He came to the office and we were not able to find a battery, so he took a key to a new room with him. When he returned to your room, you had left off the property. We tried calling, but received no answer. So we did leave your door accessible so you would not come back and be unlocked. You requested a free night in your room as compensation, which we greed to 50% that room. Had you allowed us time to correct the issue, there would have been no problem. Again, we are very sorry you were not comfortable with this, and hope you will return to see us again. Thank you for the rating...

We were arriving late and I received a message from the manager with instructions for checking in. It was very easy! The room was clean and quiet, could use some minor updates, but overall a nice midway point for us to stop on our trip!

The property was sold last week, so there was nobody there to take care of the guest The heat didn’t work correctly and there was no one to talk to about it because there was no phone and no staff.

Although the property seems a bit outdated in the rooms the staff was really nice and the yard around it was lovely. I don’t think housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly as there were food crumbs on the night stand.

No guidance on locating room, water just dribbled out of shower, (no pressure) no one in lobby in morning was told coffee would be ready in lobby 7 in morning, but could be made any time and no coffee in morning (left at 10 min till 7.) Also, phone in room didn't work.
