Very comfortable and spacious rooms with high ceilings, modern baths. Uniformly excellent service by staff in all areas. Great breakfast spread to suit all tastes with fresh food. Italian restaurant makes excellent pizzas. Metro line is super convenient in 2minute walk and hotel arranges cars with drivers whenever needed. Higher floors are very nice and cheerful with lots of lights, lower floors naturally less bright due to surrounding buildings.

Great hotel close to NIMHANS. 5 star quality for 4 star prices. Clean and comfy rooms and a couple of solid restaurants on site. A very good breakfast buffet. Great service!

I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay at the hotel We are quite regular patrons of the hotel and as always, our stay was peaceful, uneventful and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are friendly and excellent and the service is terrific. And the rooms are clean and a pleasure to stay in. We will be coming back, for sure.

The staff is very good. The roomss are spacious and well maintained. The two restaurants have a few choices for Americans that don't tolerate spicy foods well. The wifi is slooooooow. There are no nearby places to shop for necessities. The surrounding properties are run down and dirty.

Staff at the Reception were exceptionally good. Always willing to help and friendly. Rooms were spacious and well lit. Electrical fittings and appliances required much to be desired. Difficult to turn lights off and on, plugs cannot fit into sockets, AC was smelly, worked only on 3 settings and as the electrician assistant said room temperature could not be rises beyond 16 degrees centigrade. I was shivering so much that I ended up in hospital with fever. Clearly not a 5 star hotel. Poor reception Staff triple up as front desk staff, porters carrying our bags, and as concuerge ordering taxis etc. despite how good the reception staff, and it being in Jayanagar, my wife and I will not be going to stay again unless our opinion can be changed by better services and facilities.

Good location, which is a 5-min walk from the South End Circle metro station. Overall stay was good. The staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet spread was good. The spa and swimming pool was closed for renovation, which should have been mentioned on the website. The gym facilities were okay but could be better for a five-star hotel.

Everything is good just one thing, I booked the Executive room and in room details a separate bath tub is there but to my dismay it was not available in the executive room which for me very disappointing if i know that it is not in that room then I could have book the higher category. And, also they insist that it is not their fault but expedia I even told them but that it’s them who will deliver the service. Each guest has its different preferences and expectations. If a property will just follow what they offer I guess no disappointment from the guest. And, if ever expedia is at fault i guess it’s the property will be the one to correct it and from time to time update what is in their description if it still up to their standard. But, over all the service is good especially in the restaurant and the guy in the reception who is a trainee is very accommodating I did not get his name because he is not wearing a name badge.

La Marvella Bengaluru the hidden gem
We have stayed at La Marvella twice this year. The staff is excellent in all ways ! Very courteous and helpful. The food / rooms / service is so good that we feel sad when checking out ! It’s like home for us. The location of the hotel is very convenient too, would recommend Marvella with eyes closed !

The room was spacious and appears luxurious. The bed was excellent. The room has certain modern features, but not every feature was working well. Charging points were not upgraded and were not convenient. No USB charging points. There was a shower panel, but it was not convenient, as some wholes were blocked by rust. Couldn't plug in the coffee maker and iron, as the plugs and plug points were very different. Both TV and remote were not functioning well.

The hotel was marketed as a five star in Expedia, but it did not have the feel of a five star. Maybe a 4-star at best. The TV was not working for first few days and then I realised it was because one had to call them to activate the TV channels. There was noise in the lobby area due to some construction work. There was nothing in the mini-bar for the first few days of stay. The room was quite small. It had no carpet even. For the first few days there was no buffet as well. It was quite ordinary and not worth the money and I think Expedia should give me half the price that I was charged. Kindly consider this a request for partial refund.

The room absolutely STANK of cigarettes, despite being a non-smoking room. I complained about it, and they offered to spray the room to mask the odor. I asked for an alternate room, but they said the hotel was full, despite it being a Thursday night.

Great place for the price charged
The hotel was amazing with an excellent service, kudos to staff. On site restaurant was great especially the buffet breakfast. Probably the best hotel in that part of the city. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every bit of stay. Do not miss the on site Spa.

Lots of room issues
The service is fine and the staff are nice/trying, but the hotel is need of a refresh. I had huge electrical issues in my room (lights not turning off, missing controllers for managing the room, etc.) and they took over an hour to try and fix it before finally moving me to another room. Frustrating experience after paying for a “premium” room and having little sleep after a long flight. Basically IF your room is in ok shape your stay will be fine, but I wouldn’t return here again.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights for work purposes. It is clean, the rooms are nice, and the staff is great. Breakfast was pretty good. Internet works great. Lots of westerners seem to stay here I noticed. No issues and would stay again.

Decent quality hotel. Clean & tidy.
Staff are great. Breakfast menu doesn't vary much. Some problems with lights & plugs in the room. However, if you call reception, they get a maintenance man there very quickly any time of the day.

From my experience I wont suggest this place
I am totally disappointed with this stay, I felt like wasted my money ....! Its not worth for money they charge. And very important, the room which was shown in hotels.com & the room which we got is totally different & very small room for 3 ppl. I clearly selected option when I booked room for 3 ppl. I paid nearly Rs.5500 for my one day stay, but its not worth for even Rs.3000/day. And we were forced to pay tips @ every place ... room service, car parking, and etc ... they are not moving away until we pay tips. When I vacated my room, the person who helped to bring my items to car, was opening telling us to give money for watchman ... I felt very uncomfortable in this stay, from my experience I wont suggest this place for happy stay

Decent hotel for short Business trip
Stayed here a couple of times and always enjoyed it, people are helpful, rooms are fine but fridge and aircon can be noisy. Local area is busy and can be affected by traffic noise. Breakfast is pretty much okay but curries are the best part, not western foods. Room WiFi is quick enough to work on.

Great. Well located. Quiet. I'd stay there again.
Staff are great and everything about the place is good and works. Room has a single box to control the lights, heating etc. These may seem great but it makes finding the right light switch a chore - and I couldn't control or switch off the AC. If you're like me, and sleep better in almost total darkess, you'll have to spend a couple of minutes blanking the lights on all the electronic gear. The phone display itself lights up the room.
