Amazing
Amazing hotel, so quiet and peaceful. The food was excellent and all of the staff very attentive and cheerful. Thoroughly reccomend it.

It is in a secluded area and very pretty. The room was a disappointment, older furniture and not very well decorated for the price, no conditioner for hair or expandable mirror. The rooms were noisy, we got one on the first floor facing the lobby entrance and the noise of people talking and cars was very disagreeable. The rooms are a good size, the entry key is a little frustrating and odd.The food is fantastic though, the breakfast was superb and the staff are courteous not friendly. Amazing caprese salad. The lobby and sitting areas are nicely decorated. Maybe if we had had a better room in a better area we would have rated it higher. Unfortunately, noise takes away sleep quality.

The property itself was beautiful, built into a mountain. The room and property were very nice, a renovated villa property. They had a pool and spa in addition to two restaurants at the property. There was ample parking. The staff was very attentive and helpful, something we didnt receive at other properties. Overall, a phenomenal stay.

A beautiful hotel set in a gorgeous location. The entire staff is welcoming, informative and enthusiastic. The food in the 2 restaurants was outstanding.

The staff did not show us around the hotel. The room was only adequate. The restaurant was full with a tour group and the noise level was terrible. Overall not an experience one expects in visiting a Relais.

Beautiful setting, very friendly and extremely hard working staff (when do they rest?! We saw the same faces at breakfast through till dinner), gorgeous pool, very relaxing holiday. And oh my did I mention how good the food is here! Drool

Enjoyed our stay at the Villa D’Amelia. Located in A small village in the Piemonte region. Though not luxurious our deluxe room was very comfortable with a utilitarian bathroom. Surprisingly there was no bathtub and for a robe and pool towels you had to get those from the front desk. There is a very nice garden to stroll in and the heated pool is very nice, although the water temperature could have been a few degrees warmer. Apparently there was a small gourmet restaurant but strangely they never mentioned or proposed this to us. The menu in the main dining room featured local specialties garnished with white truffles that are sliced directly on the food item. The price of truffles is charged by the gram. We enjoyed pre and after dinner drinks and snacks in the living room style lounge. I believe that the Villa D’Amelia is probably one of the best in the region..

Great place to stay in the hills above Alba
We stayed at Villa D'Amelia for three days and the room was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. We were very disappointed that the Michelin restaurant was closed for holidays - we had booked to stay there specifically to dine at the restaurant. Also it was strange that we had to ask at reception for basic items such as conditioner and toothbrushes (this is a 4 star hotel after all). The hotel was nicely maintained, the pool area very comfortable and a excellent breakfast buffet.

Le luxe à la campagne
Un petit bijou en pleine campagne dans les vignes du Piémont et proche d'Alba. L'hotel est très beau, le service d'une rare qualitée, un petit déjeuner à la carte délicieux avec une terrasse offrant un point de vue sur la vallée. Le restaurant est très bon et la piscine qui n'est pas très grande dispose d'une large plage avec beaucoup de transats. Les chambres sont modernes, très propres et la décoration est très soignée dans tout l'hotel. On se sent immédiatement bien Parfait pour un week-end ressourçant

A pleasant surprise tucked away in the hills
Relais Villa D'Amelia was such a pleasant surprise and a great way to end our trip through Italy. The manager (I think) that helped check us in on Monday, 7/31 was extremely kind and helpful towards us. She shared her recommendations of wineries around that we should visit, offered to call and make reservations for the ones we chose to visit as well as restaurants. Our room wasn't ready yet as we had arrived early, but she managed to get it to us earlier than the check-in time and also gave a tour of the grounds. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful, a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The pool is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking... the endless hills of wineries is picturesque. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel -- the service was great and the food was delicious. Breakfast is included and is a la carte. Definitely going to come back to visit for a weekend getaway.

La struttura é il connubio perfetto tra modernità e stile vintage, la nostra camera, una deluxe, era spaziosa e dotata di un letto King divino. Nel bagno tanti prodottini di cortesia, tra cui il sapone intimo (difficile da trovare), unica pecca del bagno il phon a muro. Oltre alla bellezza della struttura, ciò che ha reso il nostro soggiorno fantastico é stata la cura del personale: giovane, professionale, attento e paziente. Torneremo sicuramente!

Relais STUPENDO, collocato tra le colline ricche di vigneti e a 10 minuti da Alba, la cittadina più grande. La posizione è centrale per visitare molti paesini delle Langhe (Barolo, Barbaresco, Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga D’Alba, Guarene e Gavone ecc ecc). L’hotel è accogliente il personale giovane e gentilissimo. La camera superior risulta spaziosa e silenziosa. Il bagno funzionale. La colazione è alla carta e varia, davvero molto buona. Nel bistrot si mangia benissimo. È presente una piccola Spa e la possibilità di fare dei massaggi (brave le fisioterapiste), peccato per la piscina esterna riscaldata che, come comunicato tempestivamente non era attiva. È stata una bellissima esperienza e consiglio assolutamente questo stupendo relais.

Positifs. Gentillesse du personnel. Excellent service. Beauté de l’endroit au milieu et surplombant les vignes du Piémont. Très bon petit-déjeuner servi à table sur une magnifique terrasse. Piscine agréable avec de nombreux transats. Bon restaurant le soir. Négatifs. Malheureusement les chambres et les salles de bains sont vieillottes. Mauvaise literie Matelas trop durs. Pas suffisamment de rangements dans la chambre. Pas ou peu d’espace de rangements dans la salle de bains. Vraiment dommage car le personnel était top et a tout fait pour rendre le séjour agréable.

Un bellissimo hotel immerso nelle lunghe. Ha un ottimo ristorante annesso che consiglio decisamente. Il personale è molto cortese, discreto e gentile. Gli ospiti sono quasi tutti stranieri. L'hotel è dotato di una piccola piscina all'aperto e una piccola spa poco utilizzata.

Haciendavistelse i Barolo
Rent allmänt hade vi en fantastisk vistelse. Hotellet är ”hacienda-likt” och ligger fantastiskt vackert. Välkomnande, fräscht och avslappnande. Frukosten alldeles utmärkt liksom hotellets restaurang(er). Inom 10-20 min bilfärd når man såväl Barbaresco som Barolo-distrikten; förutom vinerna väl värda ett besök. Har egentligen bara två (fjuttiga?) smolk i bägaren: pool-området är lite för litet när hotellet är fullt - finns varken stolar eller riktig plats för alla (när det är +30 är poolen ett måste...); även om huvuddelen av personalen var väldigt trevliga, hjälpsamma och informativa med en fin glimt i ögat fanns det arroganta undantag... det är rätt frustrerande och irriterande att, som gäst, bli bemött på ett sådant vis.
