This is a very well-run hotel, with friendly and professional staff. Our only observation is that the food at dinner was lukewarm and there was a lack of vegetables. The breakfast was plentiful but no boiling water ( for tea ) - only hot water. We would return!

Large hotel with spacious rooms. Very formal and professional staff. Not new but not too dated either. The service level doesn’t seem to keep up with the size of the hotel. Annoying too have too wait half an hour for a cup of coffee in the morning, or stand in line for anything at all. No place left in the spa. Somebody had cleaned the windshield of our car during the night, nice gesture.

Top class hotel, suite was large, private balcony, and expected room facilities. Took half board as food reviews were good. The food was very good and plentiful with varied, themed menus each night. Gym was reasonably equipped and pool inviting. Staff all very helpful, will rebook in future

Dissapointing

A bit dissapointing. I specifically asked for a room with the spectacular view and we got a partial view and the golf course. The beds were too hard for us and so we didnt sleep properly for 2 nights. It wasnt made clear on the booking that we had to pay an extra 25Euros each to go into the pool. The balcony had not been cleaned so we couldnt use the sun beds as there was bird poo on them.

Check in was good with a welcome drink from a very friendly Gonzalo. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. The hotel has a lot of steps and the rooms are located outside the main building so we had to drag our luggage through the theatre, up and down steps to reach our room- it felt poorly designed with little thought to guests comfort. Thankfully we only had small cases. Our "Superior Deluxe" room was very cold, the heating wasn't working, when reported it was "fixed"- however the temperature never got hot enough and the room felt damp. The towel rail fell off the wall when removing a towel, it was reported and fixed. The shower temperature kept fluctuating from cold to warm to boiling but we had given up reporting and waiting in the room for things to be fixed as we were only there for 2 nights. The buffet breakfast had cold bacon 1st day and cold scrambled eggs the 2nd, the orange juice was watery. It was cold weather and the waitress kept exiting the restaurant via the fire doors and leaving them open letting in a cold draught. Overall a disappointing stay.
