"My husband and I stayed for just 1 night. For what we needed for 1 night this location was perfect. The welcoming service was great, the room and bathroom are spacious enough, and the location is a 15-20 minute walk from the ferry terminal and where all the shops/restaurants are. Even if we had to stay multiple nights this would have been a good enough place. "

"I would definitely visit here again. Only tissue is if you want to go out somewhere nice it is a 10-15 minute walk downhill to lake. We walked a lot but the ladies complained about having to walk that far downhill with nice shoes and difficult if raining. It was very difficult to get transportation for dinner. The hotel did not have a shuttle. "

"Hotel Excelsior splendid is an older hotel that is in good shape however the rooms are somewhat dated. Breakfast was good however it was somewhat spoiled by the large amount of flies. It is right on all of the piers, one minute and any of the piers there are other hotels in the area, one of them an expensive, five star hotel, also there is a hotel that has been abandoned next to the facility. "Spiders everywhere. No amenities or essentials (tea, coffee, showergel). Transparent curtains, no privacy. Code system to access apartment, but the whole building uses the same system and there is no double lock on the apartment door. We felt very unsafe and insecure."
