Wonderful river side location, our room overlooked the river, clean, Great continental breakfast, friendly receptionist, the only down side, there is no car parking for the hotel, had to park across the road.

This hotel is located just in front of the main rail way station. But, the bus station is located 5 min walk away along the river bank. You take 5 min walk crossing a bridge to reach the old town for sightseeing. Free coffee is available 24 hr at the eating room at the 0th floor, which is always open and cozy.

Great location in the center of town, fight near the train station. Clean and well run. Nice to have a cafe on the ground floor. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Comfortable stay
The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was good. The reception was a bit strange with just a bar table and bell but seemed to work ok. Great location right next to the station and a short walk to the old town and lots of restaurants.

Nice hotel, but careful go down to breakfast early
Stay was nice, hotel clean and comfortable.but make sure you go to breakfast well in advance to the time they say they stop serving. We arrived 10 minutes before and there was very little of the normally nice breakfast available. The staff supplied us with some fruits when we complained but obviously it’s not the same. Was very disappointing.😒

Great place to stay in Bayonne
We liked the location by the river, close to the train station and just a hop over the bridge to the center of town. It was a great choice for us. Also a very good breakfast.

Had a nice room overlooking river and easy access to city center and the local attractions. Very close to train station as well. The staff made our stay very pleasant and recommended a side tour to Biarritz which was great. Breakfast and coffee were great. Good variety. They had good internet and a computer available for client use.

Room with awesome view
Arriving at Ibis Styles Bayonne Centre Gare before noon, I did not expect to have my room ready but it was ready! The room was clean and when I drew the curtains, I was stunned by the beautiful view of the rivers with the Bayonne Cathedral, town hall, the bridges, and other historic buildings. Proximity to the train station was convenient, especially for my early departure of 6:53am. Will stay here again.

Ibis Styles hotel in Bayonne is really well located a short walk from the train station. The hotel was great with a great breakfast. Staff were very helpful and well informed. Great restaurants across the bridge. The only negative was the roadworks being done by the town right in front of the hotel. It will be very good when finished.

Marvellous accommodation in Bayonne
This was a perfect location for an overnight stay in Bayonne. Very close to the railway station and riverside restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff who provided local tourist information. The rooms on the top floor have beautiful views over the river and surrounding countryside. We found our room to be spotless with a very comfortable bed. Toilet conveniently separate from bathroom. We finished with an excellent buffet breakfast. We will definitely return to this reasonably priced hotel.

Excellent Experience
The owner was friendly, helpful and fun. The location is excellent if you plan to walk the El Camino de Santiago. It's very close to the pilgrim's office. We highly recommend this lodging. Thank you.

I Loved My Stay!
Son a leisure trip staying one night, as a solo older American woman, I was given (without my request) perhaps this atmospheric and comfortable hotel's best room--s third floor room overlooking the dynamic Adour River and its flag-bedecked, night-lighted bridge with a haunting vista of Bayonne Cathedrald spires. A free excellent French-style buffet breakfast featured multiple local bakery, fruits, cheeses, sliced meat, yogurts, and continental coffee options. Staff was consistently gracious, friendly and helpful. I loved my stay!

Bayonne Center
Very clean and comfortable hotel situated right on the river Adour. Staff were very friendly..bottle of water in room (always appreciated) and the rooms very stylishly decorated. The continental breakfast was OK..with the opportunity to squeeze your own orange juice. The hotel is right next to the bridge so easy walk over to old town and many restaurants. Also a short walk from the train station.

Two seniors in their early 70 from the U.S. who are not too picky about European hotels, and usually stay at 3 star locations stayed at Grand Hotel Raymond IV. The hotel is about a three block walk from the main train station – we would say very convenient. Desk staff very helpful – even printed a contract off for us. There is an elevator. Our room was roomy enough. The toilet was separate from the bathing area, strong water pressure and good towels. Wi-fi was accessible but we had to re-enter the password often. Minimal electrical plugs for charging – we travel with four devices. Breakfast was what I call European minimal: coffee, tea, juice, croissants, breads, fruit (fresh and canned), yoghurt, meat, cheese and hard boiled eggs – definitely sufficient. Location definitely good for walking to sights and restaurants. Note that on the front of the hotel, it is called Hotel Raymond IV – the word Grand nowhere to be seen! Bonus for me: there was a place around the corner to get a manicure.

The perfect spot
Less than 5 minutes walk from the station, situated beside the river and only a few minutes across the bridge to the old town, the Ibis Styles hotel is the ideal place for us. The top floor room was spacious with separated toilet and bathroom and good view west towards the Atlantic. The staff were welcoming, the rooms spotless and the bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast did not vary from one day to the next but the quality was great. We used it as a base spend days in Bayonne itself, Biarritz (cheap and frequent buses), St Jean de Luz (convenient trains) and St Jean de Pied Port (up in the Pyrenees by train/bus). We will certainly come back to Bayonne and this hotel would be our first choice.

Nice and close to the railway station
Good walking distance to the railway station, couple of good restaurants nearby, and we had a good view of the bridge from our room. It was lovely that the French doors opened and we could have fresh air. The hotel itself was a little past its prime but clean and the staff friendly. We could hear the traffic from the bridge but that was because we kept the windows open. Internet was a little frustrating because we had to keep re-newing it every 8 hrs.

Pleasant hotel onvenient to train and town center
Formerly the Hotel Loutau, this is a well-run 3 star place currently in the hands of the Ibis chain. Rooms are sometimes small, but those with river views particularly nice. Staff is helpful and efficient. Train station only 2 blocks away; town center a pleasant 10 min walk. Restaurant recommendation to the St Cruque bistro was good; not always the case with hotel referrals for places to eat.

Good for 1 night for family of 4
Travelling as a family of four, with our sons (7 & 9) on the sofa bed, the room was comfortable/cosy for our 1 night stay, but would have been too cramped for a longer stay. Good location very close to Train Station and great views of bridge and across the river. Buffet breakfast good. Signage from the railway station a bit confusing for pedestrians (as I think it is designed for those arriving by car). We crossed a few more roads than we needed to and missed the most direct small lane on your right after exiting the train station.

Splendid Stay
The Ibis Styles Bayonne Gare Centre was welcoming and pleasantly surprising! Excellent rooms with comfortable and relaxing bed! Location was a joy, right beside the river, the bridge traffic was not intrusive at all as the rooms are well insulated from it! Going by the high standard and selection of breakfast items, I should have elected to eat in as my chosen restaurant in town was dreadful! Thank you Ibis Styles for an also to short of a stay, I will be back

Our room overlooked the river - very pretty. Tiny shower and separate toilet but clean and smart. Convenient for town (just across the bridge). Extremely comfortable bed.
