"My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vacances Bleues le Royal. The hotel has an authentic French feel with antiques, chandeliers, and elaborate mouldings. The rooms are more modern- the bed was very comfortable and the balcony looks out onto the Mediterranean. The only issues we had were that the bathroom lights didn’t work- we let the front desk know and they were supposed to send a workman to our room to check it out, but never did. "The location is amazing and only one street off the main Promenade, so great for a visit to Nice. Fortunately we had a nice corner room with windows, but the rooms and overall interior are very dated and a bit dingy. They should replace the mattresses soon. No closet, but at least there was a small refrigerator and a coffee maker! They do have a lounge with seating for breakfast and a very nice small terrace for drinks at the end of the day. Staff was very friendly. "

I had a room overlooking the promenade with a tiny balcony which was nice but the room and the bathroom were small and a bit run down. A friend had the same category room at the back abc both room and bathroom weee quite a bit larger. However I’d stay there again "
