Love the location to be at the centre of La Rambla. Busy, lots of people but the hotel is safe and quiet. I booked this last minute and I’m thankful that we did took it. We were well rested the next day. Love the morning view by the balcony. Had the best empanada from a walking distance stall from the hotel. Will definitely book back!!

This was my first experience with a hostel. I was very happy with everything. It was clean, safe and close to everything! The hosts were very nice. I would definitely stay here again. Very happy!

The Hostal is directly opposite the Boqueria market on the Ramblas. Perfect location for solo traveller. It is next to Liceu tube station on Green Line and short walk to Placa de Catalina. Spotless condition and efficient and friendly, professional staff.,

It was very convenient being right next the Liceu metro station. Everything is clean, the water pressure is phenomenal and its a great value for what you pay. The only thing to note is that we walked past it several times, both day and night, because it's front door is set back a bit from a wall and the signage isn't very large. We really enjoyed our stay.

El hotel tiene una ubicación conveniente, cerca a la estación de tren y a La Boqueria que es una zona que me gusta mucho. La habitación estaba en buenas condiciones, una ventana que daba al ascensor 😅. En conclusión un lugar bueno para ir a dormir, con un baño ok.

Great location, just in Ramblas street which is very helpful to visit places in Barcelona. Room was very clean and comfortable, hot water always available, a/c and heater working great. Really recommended.

Nice location, decent place but be at alert
The place had. A wonderful location, staff were decent but i hated the fact that they took advantage of the situation and charged me a lot. I admit I made a mistake in the reservation and they accepted to fix it but only by making me pay "rates difference" as they claimed which were much much more than how they charge normally. Being with my family, i was left with no option but to comply. This made me really hate staying there despite the good location and staff being polite.

Great location, room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, quiet and we slept well (even though it's on Las Ramblas, which is very busy), staff were really friendly and helpful. The Boqueria markets are across the street, giving you a bewildering selection of places to eat, the tapas in the area is fantastic. The Gothic quarter is to the rear, a ten minute walk to the cathedral, surrounded by beautiful mediaeval and traditional Spanish architecture (which puts Gaudi's modernism to shame, imho), plus a host of boutique shopping nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, super clean.
Nice linens, great location by the market on the Ramblas, super clean room for four. Air conditioning works great. Although there was no coffee pot in the room, free coffee was available after 8 AM in the lobby. They let us put drinks in the office fridge. I thought it was pricey for the size of the room, however.

Location is fantastic - right in the center of Las Ramblas, opposite the Boqueria indoor market. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were basic, but clean and perfect for the price/location.

Completley unsafe, had to move hotels!
Worst hotel stay I've ever had. I should have left when I first arrived. It is shared with apartments or something with chains on the doors. The fighting/yelling at night is nothing short of terrifying!! There is yelling coming from inside and outside of the property. My door handle was even jiggled at night. After being in tears I went down the street where I was safe. Simply awful. Females beware!

This place is only good for its location. The only blanket was given to us folded on the floor of the closet. The room had a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals and we had to keep the AC/fan running the entire time. Cleaning lady was very loud in the morning. It is a hostel after all and expect the price you are paying would only be for the location.

Great location.
This hotel is right on La Rambla and across the street for the market. It is typical European small but it is very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. No issues what so ever. Would stay there again if I were to return to Barcelona. No problems with WiFi.

Really nice location on La Rambla close to Gothic Quarter, Beach, Plaza Catalunya. Also 24 hour market and farmacia on either side and close ATMs. It's like staying at a nicer motel 6. Overall good value.

2 star hostal, 4* experience. Only down points is no outside window, just one into a stair well. Had to hold shower to wash as it didn’t reach the wall mount, website said king bed or two singles and we got a double. Also they appeared to be doing some work while we were there so it often woke us up. Clean overall, complimentary cooled water on arrival, no charge for looking after bags day of departure.

Great location good price.
The place is right in the centre of the main street 'La Rambla'. All things are on walking distance. The room was clean and kept neat. The hotel manager gave the map and helped us with some information. The rating is four because the room had only one window which opened into a lift shaft. The room was not sound proof and we could hear every door opening and closing. So not so good if you are a light sleeper.

Great location for tourists
The good: Location is great, on La Rambla, right across the street from the big Boqueria market. Tour buses depart a couple blocks away, starbucks nearby, tons of shops, etc. Pretty clean. Friendly staff. The bad: Lumpy, soft mattresses. We all had sore backs after a couple nights. Even the young teenager... Pretty small, very basic room. Not much space to put anything down in the bathroom. Could use a small table or something in there to set down clothes, toiletries, etc...
