My husband, daughter & I liked the property location. The young man who greeted us was very pleasant. He took care of keeping the place very clean. He was very helpful in answering all of my questions & concerns. We rented a room which included refrigerator, full size bed & a twin rollout bed. The downfalls to the room was a leaky toilet and the full size bed was so stiff the springs were digging into my back. I tossed & turn to get comfy. The mattress & toilet should be replaced.

This hotel has a friendly staff, is in a lovely location and it was definitely clean. They also keep the air conditioning on high in the common areas, which was a pleasure to walk into from a day out in the heat. The bed is hard as a rock though, and is basically a cot thCheck in is from 8a-6p

The check in was difficult, we arrived after 6pm so we had to do check-in in another address, 30 min walking from where our hotel was. We didn't receive any advise or comment. They just give us a tiny map and let us go. I thought that was near but it is really far, so better use a taxi or metro.

It was aterrible expierence, the room you show is not the same. no wi fi, no TV only three channels, non in english, the break fast was cereals, coffee, bread yogurt, the shower was clean but inconfortable with a very hight step

This was a good value for money. It might seem out of the way if you are not familiar with Barcelona public transit, but it is actually only a 5 minute walk to line 6 or 7 metro and from there it's only another 5 minutes or so to Plaça Catalunya. The room is basic and small, which is all I needed; it was tidy and was kept nice and clean while I stayed there. The AC was much appreciated and easy to use. My main objection was this: I was told that if I arrived after 8 pm I would have to come downtown to get the keys. Because of passport and metro problems I was later than I thought; I advised that I was on my way, including just 5 minutes before I arrived, and got there exactly at 8 pm to find that the reception had already closed. I acknowledge that they did tell me it was this way, and that's fair enough, but it would have been a nice gesture after an exhausting airport marathon if they had stayed open just a few more minutes so I didn't have to take another hour to trek downtown with all my bags to get the key. That said, the people I dealt with were pleasant and and they kindly provided me with a USB adapter for my phone. Also, the outer door on my room was misaligned and stuck hard onto the floor, creating a gouge and making it very hard and noisy to open. However, besides these details I enjoyed my stay and was pleased with the value. I know that AirBNB is causing big problems for Barcelona residents so I was glad to be able to stay at a proper hotel at a good price.

Horrible stay
This hostal is in a regular residential neighborhood. Far from the metro. Boring area. The one guy is there from 8 to 5pm. The bed horrible. Their crappy breakfast, not worth it. Cold cuts, bread, coffee. No bananas. Mr. Khalid young kid with no customer skills, on his cell phone. He was the worst one. The others better. It also a bldg with regular residents. The third floor the hostal with 8 rooms. This should not b in Expedia.This hostal should b closed.

We booked this hotel last minute because we missed a flight and were trying to stay near the hotel we were in previously (who no longer had availability). It looked okay from pictures, but was relatively far from the train stations (think lugging bags over cobblestone for over a mile), wreaked of air freshener, there was mold on the baseboards, my husband got bed bug bites all over, the shower didn't close completely, and the bed was horrifically uncomfortable. I felt like I paid for an hourly motel in a really bad neighborhood. I would never stay here again.

It was lovely being in the North of Barcelona!
The hotel was clean, which is the most important thing. It was pretty basic but nice. The staff were lovely and cleaned the room everyday. It was in the perfect spot, not too far to walk to the centre but I preferred being in the north, it's much nicer! Would definitely recommend.

They made a very big deal about the internet service they provide bring the fastest in Barcelona. In reality, Internet was very bad. The door to the room was getting stuck. It took a lot of effort to open it close it. The toilet flush wasn't working properly. It had a tendency to stay leaking. The person was not friendly (nor was he rude). The desk was unmanned during the evening hours (during the time it was supposed to be open), and we couldn't ask some questions we had about checkout.

Stayed for a four day break with my girlfriend. Easy to get to from the metro, nice location about 20 mins from the centre. First impressions a bit underwhelming - hostel really just a corridor with breakfast tables in the passage. But rooms are decent size as are the bathrooms and clean, with good air conditioning. Service was very good, one guy who attended from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening. Fresh towels, pillows and another blanket (air conditioning was fierce) all provided. Location does require metro trips into the centre but is in a nice relaxed part of the city with bars and restaurants nearby.

Shop around for somewhere else.
The hotel is advertised as being very close to city center. It is not by any means. It is a distant walk to the nearest metro or subway station. It is also advertised as a "hotel" but it is actually a hostel. The accommodations are not the worst, but I have stayed in many better.

Room was clean, a bit out of the way but the metro is nearby and easy to use. The front desk is open infrequently, even during hours they say they are and the place isn't all that easy to find. Once we did finally hunt the front desk guy down, asked him to print some boarding passes for us and call a cab. He said he would but he didn't, leaving us to a bunch of running around at 5 am.

We were here from my family for 3 nights, the receptionist Maria is very nice and everything to help showed on the map all interesting places in Barcelona where we were for the first time, I can everybody this hotel recommend, hotel cleaned very well and fast internet Maria thank you for your help, certainly again we accommodated in this hotel

Nice hotel great location but the room was only cleaned 2 days out of the five, they gave us free breakfast vouchers and there was breakfast, very clean bathrooms dont check in room 1, its by the streets garbage cans, they make alot of nice when they pass by to pick the garbage, poor wifi But over all i would stay there again but with making sure that i would recieve all my benefits

I was surprised to see that the room was beyond my expectation. It was very clean and new. I enjoyed staying at this hotel with very friendly staff. It is kind of far from the city center but a metro station is 5-10 mins walking distance so it was not a big issue.

Stayed here for a few days in January and were very happy to get a decent sized room with large bed, private bathroom and heat pump for 20 pounds/night in a quiet area. The location was good, very close to a metro line which was the only one we needed to get everywhere. The reception staff were very friendly and the rooms were secure. The walls were thin and we could hear people next door, but couldn't complain for the price. Recommended for budget conscious travelers.

Good hostel, comfortable, clean and quiet.
Booked because the price was good and I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of the room. Very clean and comfortable en suite room. The two staff working there during my stay were friendly and helpful and even did my laundry free of charge. The location was good, quiet, but with some good cafés nearby and a metro station within a five minute walk so easy access to all the attractions (via metro). Breakfast looked quite basic, but there is an excellent cafe a few minutes away that did a great breakfast for under four Euros. Overall excellent value for money and I would happily stay again.

Location and room were both very good. 3 stops on the metro from the centre of the city. What you get is a room with an ensuite and fridge without the frills of a hotel which suited us perfectly. The room was cleaned everyday and although our towels were also cleaned on a few occasions they were not replaced with clean ones (minor fault but a bit annoying). Otherwise, the staff were friendly they would communicate with you as much or as little as you wanted them to. En-suite was good size but shower needs to be fixed (head was loose and hot water was not always a guarantee). The neighbourhood was the highlight of the place. Great restaurants/cafes on all the surrounding streets and very quiet and safe at night. Would stay there again!

1. it is not twin bed. One bed is queen and anoth is a single. The mattress is terrible; 2. Shower door can be closed and shower was not drain properly. Shower base was full of water when showering; 3. there is no telephone in the room; 4. Hard to find. There should be a big sign at the entrance.

realy bad experience with this hotel
took us 3 hrs. to find the hotel, and get someone to come to open the hotel door we arrived at 7;30 p.m. was not easy to find this hotel , no name of the hotel anywere no light in the street, we have to ask por help to people across the street, and they did help us to find this person to come and open de door for us, a realy small room with a t.v. did not work. next day we come back a 5;p.m. and the room was not clean towels was no change, bad experiance will never be back to this place.
