The theme and decor (retro) was great! Everything was clean and well thought out. The breakfast was better than most with the added attraction of the drive-in movie! The room was convenient, clean and the bed was comfortable. If we went back we would definitely stay at this location again.

This is a super cute property. The staff is very friendly. You can borrow needed equipment like walking poles. The breakfast was tasty and included Maine blueberries. There is a pool and playground. It is really close to Acadia and only about a 10 minute walk to town.

Historic inn with lots of charm and character. Located in the area of Marblehead that is steeped in history. Great staff, delicious breakfasts, walkable to restaurants and shops. Due to the age of the Inn, could be challenging for persons with mobility issues.

The Bar Harbor Hotel is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the Acadia entrance, 15-20 minutes from the top of Cadillac Mountain, and less than 5 minutes from Bar Harbor shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, not over the top, but plenty of variety. We will definitely have them at the top of our list when we return!

The property was very nice convenient to acadia and close to shopping very clean and well taken care of would be great for a family there were 2 rooms with doors 2 beds in back room and king size bed in the front room.

This was a quaint property that was so close to the ocean and had amazing customer service. They recommended a little place around the corner for breakfast with the best cinnamon rolls and muffins.

Nice and comfortable
This was a decent place to stay. The location is handy for doing activities in bar harbor. Our room was in the first block closest to the office, I think a room deeper in the compound would be more desirable for more quiet. As with all motels, there are too many and too bright outside lights. I wish the breakfast used washable utensils rather than throw away.

Very clean, cozy room that appeared to be recently updated. Loved the retro microwave and telephone…very cool! We are already looking forward to coming back to this wonderful property next season! Breakfast was very nice and the staff here are very attentive! This property exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely fantastic experience...from check-in to the spacious clean room to the wonderful breakfast. The entrance trail to the park is a bonus, and a short walk to downtown too. I would stay here again for the price range, first choice.

The room was a retro decor that was fun. It was quiet and has a trail that connects to the carriage trails so you can hike without driving anywhere. Also you can walk into town and catch the public transport into the NP. It’s very child friendly and if you are there in the summer there’s a pool.
