Property is in an excellent location a short walk from the sites we wanted to see. Loved the idea of how this hotel attempt to serve visitors but bed wasn't very comfortable nor was seating in room. There was seating int he reception area that was comfortable. Breakfast was good and had something for everyone.

All Ibis hotels are pretty much the same; clean, sparse, friendly staff. The location of this hotel is fantastic. A short walk or cab from Hbf and a short walk to all of tourist Bamberg. The market just around the corner had wonderful, ripe, Franconian peaches.

Fine for a business stay of a couple of nights
I was here for 3 weeks - hotel is fine for a couple of nights on a business trip - good central location. No laundry service and staff wouldn‘t try to make arrangements to find a local service on my behalf. Rooms noisy from 6am due to deliveries to the supermarket right underneath. Breakfast is €15 supplement (not really worth it - go to the bakery next door).

The location was great for walking with small kids. There’s also a Rewe (grocery store) right next door, bonus! We booked a double room, but ended up with two rooms connected which also worked out great. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and the staff were kind and helpful. Only con was one of our rooms was a handicap room with red call cords which were kid magnets. But we would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean hotel
Nice, clean hotel. Staff nice and helpful. Bed a bit hard but that's personal preference. The room was dark and nice a/c. We didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Perfect location in Old Town. Great city!

Scanning IDs! All other is lovely.
In and out hotel. By checking they will try to scan your ID! Do not consent and fill traditional check-in papers if needed. The scan of the ID is complete including all the details as ID# validity etc. Do not give your ID card for this scan!!! Otherwise a lovely hotel in area where you can easily go for dinner. The stuff is now better than in the beginning. Nice rooms with the possibility to what Netflix or Prime from you cell on the TV.

This is a NEW hotel which opened in January 2019. Centrally located and easy to find with underground parking available for a reasonable fee by entering the (alley/street) next to it. The staff accommodating and the room was spacious for two people. Breakfast was included and was similar to other European style breakfast.

The location is good , walkable to old town. However, no onsite parking is a problem. Spent much time on parking or to get the car, because the area is congested and one way.

Room and lobby was very clean and staff was very friendly, but the room had no closet or hangers, making it impossible to hang up suit and shirts to get rid of wrinkles. Also no glasses in bathroom for water - had to get cups from front desk (plastic unfortunately). Only one staff doing check-in and very manual process so slow.

Good hotel with no parking guarantee
I had bad experience with parking. I bought ticket for 2 nights parking. But when i came second day parking Garage was closed and i was not able to go inside. After 3 attempts and discussion with reception i had to go find out parking somewhere outside. For Explanation there is no parking avilable on the Bamberk street. In total i spent 1 an half hour with this activity.

New but not quite good services
Received Downgrade of my room withou any info inadvance or by arrival. So be aware. Parking is not possible to reserve. Staff hardly speaks English and even German was complicated.
