We enjoyed our stay - the rooms could be cleaner. Particularly the showers and dust up high. Lighting in the rooms is not good.

Staff were amazing - every single one of them! Food was great and service was prompt. Nothing ever too much trouble. The rooms weren’t over fancy but had everything we required ( more clothes storage than our next , more expensive fancier hotel!) Will definitely stay here again when back in Bali! Thank you Risata for a wonderful stay x

Quite and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by manicure/well maintained landscaping. Bathroom condition was not at par. Tea/caffe inside the room is very limited.

Room smelt a little of sewage.
Older hotel in a good location close to the airport. Food and beverage service was quite slow. Check in staff helpful. Unfortunately our studio room had a smell from the drains in bathroom and upon opening our balcony door there was some sort of a sewage tank as our view. We only stayed 1 night before our flight back. For the price we paid can not really complain.

My favourite place
Always love being at the Risata. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I love the amount of gardens, even a vegetable garden. It is close to the beach where I love having a bbq corn cob and watch the sun go down. You can walk for kms along the path to Kuta and beyond passing lots of places to stop for food or drink and then walk back along the street where there are so many small shops and cafes. Just a step outside Risata are amazingly priced spas and cafes. Their breakfast is so good and keeps me going all day.

Hotel is in good location. Is quiet and very green. Walking distance to beaches and shopping. In my opinion breakfast should have more options, but was good enough. Service was good but staff almost every day was setting up our a/c on very low temperatures. Generally I recommend the hotel.

Well let me start by saying we loved this hotel...but its in major need of renos. The first room we had was right on the pathway and very noisy till late and again in the a.m. The doors were falling off in bathroom cabinets, the shower drain almost totally blocked, the shower just a dribble and the toilet seat was broken. We asked for a quieter room (which I did when I booked) and we got a DARK room opposite the owners entrance with no garden view and a toilet that took 4 or more flushes to work...despite asking twice to fix it. It stunk as well...very disconcerting. The pool bar was closed and if you got room or poolside service you had to pay cash! Did see the timeshare people allowed to charge it to their room. I mean we stayed 2 weeks...its not like they didnt know us! Breakfast is ok only. Very heavily Indian food... Look the staff we could not fault...they were warm and friendly and helpful. Its just so run down, and there's heaps better value closer to Kuta. Sorry to say but we wouldnt come back....even after 3 stays. We actually stayed in another hotel for 2 nights with a big pool and sumptuous breakfast for less dollars. I hate to leave this review for this hotel but it needs serious work...

Our stay here wasn’t the greatest. Majority of the staff were not friendly and accommodating towards us. TV Chanel’s didn’t work, breakfast was very average not much variety at all, no shuttle to get into town, price went up on room service within 2 days and we were taxed which on the menu it said included, shower pressure was horrible, no soy milk or anything for lactose intolerance. Apart from all that the facilities our nice and pool is nice but a shame that the staff treat aussies different to the Indians. Wouldn’t recommend for a family with kids.

I am afraid that we were very disappointed with the menu offered for breakfast. As part of our stay package, breakfast was included however, to have anything other than was there we were charged. This was quite expensive after 10 days. We found that the menu catered for a specific culture and left all others out in the cold. Nothing on offer as has been in the past. We ended up going across the street for breakfast for variety. Very sad and may end our stays here after over 10 years.

we have stayed at the risata a few times before and found this time to be not very good ,the place is run down and needs money spending on it , the staff where lovely as usual but it didnt improve our view of the hotel there where not a lot of people in the hotel , and people we spoke to felt the same way , some days we had the pool to ourselves and it didnt feel much like a holiday , the breakfasts wasnt very good and not a lot of choice ,it also felt that the hotel was being run on a budget ,

This is one of the best hotels I stayed during my trip, given I’ve stayed in different hotels all over Bali, this had one of the top amenities around.

A lovely smaller size resort on the edge of Kuta walking distance to central shopping but with the added advantage of a shuttle service to Discovery time a day.

I didn't like that they were doing pool renovations . They should have told people beforehand. Location is good The property is nice but on the smaller size and the rooms are old but clean .For the price I paid it was good but honestly have stayed in better places for the same money

WE only stayed here for 2 nights before heading back to Australia. It is in a good location. The beach is at the end of the road. Lots of shops in the street outside of the resort. The room was nothing spectacular. Standard bathroom. It is a much larger resort than I thought. Large clean pool.
