The room seemed like it had been smoked in. I have asthma and I would not have booked it had I known. The room was not very clean. The sheets felt like they were not in good condition. I checked out one day early because of these issues.

Good location although diva hotel is a night life hotel with multiple restaurants and bars in it. Would be better if gym open more hours. Rooms smelt like smoke but some more than others. Opening windows helped. Staff nice and helpful. We borrowed an adaptor from them without charge.

VALUE FOR MONEY
Although we only ever book a room and not with meals, the Diva provides first rate service, its central to the other areas that we visit. Great room service menu and very friendly staff.

An Indian front desk was asking for 5BD to have an extra key card. Advertised in expedia was free airport shuttle and free breakfast but the property claims that they do not offer such thing. Did not waste time arguing. Will be the last time booking with Diva and will not recommend to people I know.

Dear Guest,Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.However, the extra 5BD was not for the key but to inform that if there would be an second person in the room as the room was booked only for one person.Airport transfers and BF is not at all on complimentary basis as both the services have some nominal fee. We have rates with BF and without BF and you chose to stay in room without BF.

Double Dipping pun intended.
I booked a weekend trip with friends. I selected the hotel based on its amenities. So imagine my surprise when I went to the pool during my stay and was told I had to pay an addition charge to go to the pool. This is not good. Turns out the hotel double dips. Taking money from residents promising a pool, then selling the pool to third parties for parties. I refused to pay an additional charge. But it should not come to this. The food service was also extremely slow more than 30 minutes to get a basic burger in the bar.

Lovely staff but noisy hotel
I had people staying and not enough space at my apartment so I checked in to a local hotel for a week. All I needed was a bed and a shower (I was spending no other time there) and I still had to get up a 4.30am on work days to get to work. I cannot speak more highly of the staff. They are all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they really make the place. I should have heeded the warnings about how noisy this hotel is. There are bars / clubs on floors 6-8 and 20. One closed at 6am one night. The first rooms I was given weren’t noisy because of the clubs but because of the external airconditioning units. There was a constant loud drone so avoid rooms next to the stairwells. I was ‘upgraded’ to a room on Floor 10 - the noise from the club was ridiculous (and I was wearing earplugs) and continued late into the night - one night it continued beyond me having to get up at 4.30am. I was moved to a ‘quieter’ room (Floor 15) but, at times, music still could be heard. Throughout all of this, the staff were so accommodating and apologetic. All rooms are big; however, throughout the entire building and in bedrooms there is a lingering smell of smoke. My clothes I had at the hotel smelt of smoke and as a teacher, students actually commented on it. Airing the building and decent air freshener would help with this in rooms.

The best value and quality hotel in Bahrain!
Absolutely amazing! Rooms were spacious, staff were ever so friendly, security was superb and the cleaning staff did an amazing job of making sure I was happy and the room was cleaned each and everyday! Even came when the time best suited me. I’ll definitely be back! As a westerner too this place was great being that there’s a sports bar, a great late night bar with pool too and live music, Arab clubs which I didn’t really go too and right by shops for anything you need. The bed was rather hard but I personally prefer it. November here I come!
