This place can be better. It’s quiet, out of town, peaceful and new. Great place to unwind with plenty of in and outdoor activities including a great pool and grassy areas. It’s self sufficient. The food there is very good considering where the resort is. BUT,
The staff are eager to serve but they don’t know very much about service. I’m mentioning the following to help management understand what’s going wrong.
We checked into room 105. It’s under the restaurant so there’s a lot of noise coming in from above while it’s open. The place was nearly empty so why put us there. The walls are thin so why cram people into adjoining rooms where we can hear each other? Spread us out. Our floor wasn’t swept, only 1 towel and coffee cup but 2 glasses and no one told us we had to turn on the water heater to get hot water - should be part of setting up the room. Don’t throw dirty water from the restaurant over the balcony - you might splash other guests as you did to me. Fix the sewage smells from the deck of our room. If your staff say we can have an early breakfast make sure someone tells the restaurant staff. They did help us but there was little choice. There were a couple of other things but you should get the picture by now.
Management needs to guide the staff about how to provide proper service and how to communicate to each other and guests otherwise the poor ratings will continue.
