First impression- scary. We had to loop around to find the entrance. In the 3 minute loop, I saw multiple rats and several homeless people. Rooms are small and spartan. Lots of flies. Towels are very old and stiff. On the positive note, they do have an elevator. The breakfast was good. And the staff was kind.

Convenient and is a decent value for what it is. I needed a low cost place to stay for 1 night, it served its purpose. A/C doesn't perform well. The staff was very nice.

Customer service to improve
Manager could do better or have better attitude about failure in providing guests Wifi access, which is promised but not at mercy of the hotel. Customer Service seems to be a big issue in this kind of budget hotel. My two nights stay over in Avignon could be a more comfortable one, after overcoming the bunk bed setting in room.

Many broken things
The hotel is very well located for people coming by car since there is a free parking spot nearby and the main old town attractions are within an easy walking distance. However, the rooms resemble more an old student dormitory instead of a hotel, many things are broken and the over feeling is disappointing. The price, however, was quite competitive.

Don’t reserve this hotel via hotels.com. I made a reservation at this hotel, but I was informed that this hotel was overbooked and no room was available for me upon arriving at the hotel over 10PM.

Great value for your money. We stayed just one night. It was quiet, check-in was easy and staff was friendly. It’s a good place to stay right outside Avignon center (where it’s hard to drive and park.)

Good location, good value for money.
Value for money and excellent location. Free parking just 350m from the hotel door. 2 minute walk into the old city and down to the rive Rhône. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Location was just outside city wall, pleasant walk to restaurants. Easy walk to bus and train station. We had one day of no water, then just cool water. One day the elevators were out of service, but we were just one floor up, no big deal. Good value

Great location, nice rooms. Staff was great. Loved that they had a bar in the hotel. Only downfall is the free parking lot isnr super convenient for bringing luggage in, and there's nowhere to stop near the entrance to unload. Overall, 4.5 out of 5, right next to the city walls!

Great hotel
Great hotel with equally great aircon during the 40+ degree heatwave. Probably better value than the full-Ibis next door if you don’t mind a few less niceties. Staff friendly and helpful too.

Suited my needs
It is an Ibis budget, so the hotel I should equipped like all th others in the chain. You get what you expect. The room was of reasonable size, and had a bath / shower. Mine was at the front of the hotel which parallels the man in road, but I didn’t notice much noise although it could be an issue if you sleeping later than I did. It is fairly convenient being less than 10 minutes walk to the town centre or the main railway station. Breakfast is extra and basic, but it does a job.

Air conditioning inadequate. Floor all marked up with black marks fromluggage. Many areas needed a coat of paint. Carpet dirty. Elevator broke. Staff sullen and unhelpful.

Walking distance to everything- exceptional staff - felt like home. Highly recommend it for its location, comfort , clean and friendliness. We ve been travelling around Europe for a while now, and this is the best we ve had all trip.

As it’s name implies the rooms are small with little space for storage but is good value compared to prices for other Avignon hotels. Services are basic but staff friendly and helpful. The location just outside the city walls was convenient for rail station and access to old city. It fulfilled our needs for a few days.

Avignon stay
The hotel was fine, though there were a lot of works going on around the hotel and beyond. We didn't experience much inconvenience, except for dragging wheeled bags over sandy gravel. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. The room was basic, but had everything we needed, so was OK. A 10-minute walk took us to the old town, which we explored in the 2 days we had there. Transport was close, though we didn't use the bus service. The station was a 10-minute walk (longer with bags), but close enough to be convenient. We had meals at different restaurants within the old town not too far from the hotel.

Easy walk to old city and in a safe area. Digging up area out the front for tram-line so it was very noisy early in the morning.
