"Absolutely one of the best bed and breakfast houses I’ve stayed at. Cathy has just nailed it here! From the minute you walk in you get a lovely warm welcome The place is spotless with great attention to detail. We stayed in the ground floor USA room with its double windows, king size bed and great shower Upstairs there’s a French and an Irish room. You basically have full use of the kitchen and lounge area plus a garden area for guests. The breakfasts are amazing with a great choice of fresh produce… even the coffee is home roasted by Paul and is divine Highly recommend 😊 "

"Fantastic stay. we arrived late but Jeff was ready for us. Greatly appreciate everything about the hotel and the staff friendliness. We were able to see the beautiful grounds in the morning and it was fabulous. The breakfast was great and very good. Wish we had planned on being in this area longer as the place is worth the visit."

"I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. The only outdoor seating was by the BBQ Cafe and posted signage that you can't use that seating unless buying from them. But what good is having a beautiful spot on the water if you can't enjoy it? I also would have liked a refrigerator in the room. We had been traveling for weeks and having a fridge would have helped us preserve some of the foods we were enjoying along the way. Overall our experience was pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to others. "
