Their were alcohol cans / cigarettes packs hidden under beds , which was disgusting ,no enough air conditioning windows aren’t able to open and also beds were broke and cheap ripped at the bottom just major health and safety issues I will not recommend and also a pain waking up having to go to use the bathroom on the 3rd floor

I know backpackers are meant to be a bit more casual but this was on the lower end of that. Upon arriving my bathroom had dried up blood stains on the tiles, the shower curtain and floor had black mould as well ad the carpet inbetween.

The price was super cheap but the base truly is budget. Rooms & bathroom was tired. Beds -comfortable. Magnetic lift cards - very temperamental. Kitchen was very average.. Staff-pleasant

Hi there, our room was nice, the shower great but a bit old. We enjoyed our stay, but found using our swipe cards really difficult, and got stuck in the lift at least 3x (scary!). The other problem for us was people hanging out in the hallway on our floor in the middle of the night (3-4am, Thursday night) and the nightclub, which was almost drowned out by our lovely air conditioner :) If we stay again perhaps we will try a higher floor. Backbenders

The people running Base were friendly & tried to be helpful but the bed was a shocker! After the fourth night ( 7 nights total) my back was so painful it made walking around Aucklands sights very slow so it really put a dampener on our holiday!

The staff were fantastic, so friendly. But the base music in reception could be heard before the elevator doors even opened. Room clean, little dated. Bathroom awful! No one had cleaned behind door, roof paint peeling badly, fire sprinkler rusted and mould discoloration along bottom of shower curtain; even though it sat 2feet off the floor. Could hear every door, every footstep down the entire corridor and the aircon, though perfect room temp, was very loud, 24/7. Missed out on breakfast I had included in my booking because no one gave me vouchers etc at check in. Was told this at checkout.

Extremely Disappointed in both.

This is the worst hotel/hostel we have ever stayed at. This is not even a hostel but a backpacker hideout. When we asked for a refund we were told we had already checked in and no refund possible. Therefore, we had to rent at another hotel and spend considerably more due to the fact we had no phone and no computer. Hotels.com did nothing to help us out except to contact the hotel and they told them no refund. After having booked over 35 different hotels all over the world, we received no satisfaction from Hotels.com. They did not even ask us if we wanted a refund for our earned free nights, which would have eased the financial blow we took at this dump. Buyer beware of the pictures on Hotels.com and the no help Customer Service Team.

唔錯既背包客棧

整體來講唔錯既一個背包客棧，職員都好友善，近市中心，係機場搭skyline好快就到，個站講到明有呢間客棧，所以一定識落車，之後轉個彎就到，上網睇就話好嘈，但我又唔覺，買野都好方便，附近有超市，銀行，圖書館，電訊公司，幾分鐘就去到 It is a nice backpackers, the staff are nice and many facilities nearby so it is very convenient to buy whatever u want or wherever u go

Wer sehr tiefe Ansprüche hat der wird mit dieser Unterkunft gut bedient sein. (ringhörig, verschmutzt, heruntergekommene Einrichtung und Infrastruktur) Für zwei Nächte nach der Anreise hats gereicht. Die Bilder auf der Website versprechen definitiv mehr als geboten wird. Der Service, Beratung am Empfang war dafür gut.

這間民宿一句說話,很污槽,尤其地板,另外,接待人員不老實,話說,我們訂了二間包洗手間的房間,但入住是只給我們雙人房,幸好,我們將預訂的房間編印出來,作為証據,才給我們換房,另外,訂一個床位,入去房間見到是六人的上下格房間,但房內傳出陳陳濃列的尿味,經過投訴,才換另一床位給我們, 總括來講,奧克兰這間民宿不干凈,尤其廚房,洗手盆的水管也傳出臭味
