very pleasant hotel. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Not far from Metro Victoria. The breakfast is amazing|! Could do with a couple more pillows on the bed.

An older hotel with few extra amenities but it was clean and quiet, 25 minute walk to Syntagma Square and had some great restaurants and cafes only 3 blocks away (slightly hidden). I would stay here again. NB. 2 things to note, elevator is very small and the beds are low to the ground... not a complaint just something to know in advance

A Gem in the Heart of Athens

This hotel was reasonably priced and, once familiar with the metro stations and bus routes, its location proved to be excellent. I appreciated the circle of restaurants and bars situated behind the hotel, offering a variety of dining and entertainment options. Additionally, its proximity to other points of interest was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area without the need for lengthy travel. The accessibility to diverse attractions and the blend of comfort and convenience this hotel offers makes it a fantastic choice for travelers looking for both relaxation and adventure.

The hotel conveniently located to shopping, food and attractions and it's easy access transit and the airport. It is also in a very quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. At night the area can be a little rough but during the day it felt safe. The room needs a major overhaul as it is old and smells like cigarette smoke and wet dog. The furniture is old and the carpet has never been updated or cleaned properly. When you use the shower water goes all over the bathroom floor. During my 3 night stay the maid never vacuumed the room, forgot to clean the toilet and shower twice and never changed the drinking glasses.

The coffee in the hotel was terrible. They should have had a kettle with coffee tea and bottle water in the fridge Extra pillows in the wardrobe. And not charge for a telephone adapter.

Clean central hotel with wonderful staff
This hotel is located in a fairly central area with many stores, pharmacies, affordable restaurants and cafés, and yet on a quiet street. The area feels safe, the hotel is comfortable, clean and reasonably priced, and the staff are marvelous and always happy to help. Great service! I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again the next time I visit Athens.

The front desk staff were very helpful. My room was very clean and serviceable, though a bit small. Air con was broken throughout my stay but they provided a fan. The location is out-of-the-way of the main tourist locations but within 10 minutes of metro and bus. Also within easy walking distance to markets, restaurants and cafes. I was a bit peeved to learn that “Laundry” option advertised did not mean the hotel actually did your laundry; what that means is that there is a local laundry you can walk to to do your own laundry. Also, it would have been nice to have fresh coffee on hand during breakfast hours — it is available but only if you pre-order. There is a lift but big enough for only yourself and one big suitcase. Overall, I would recommend if you want a decent, friendly, clean hotel that is cheaper than the ones in the major tourist areas but still within reach. It was nice and clean and kind of homey-feeling.

Victory Inn is a unique little hotel. It’s about a minute walk from the Main Street. What I liked about this hotel is the balcony. It over looks the street where people from all walks of life find themselves. Some very interesting characters! The hotel room my friend and I shared was clean and well kept. Exactly what we were looking for. Cheap and clean. The shower though can do with some work. Small and the curtain is a definitely no no. The staff, however was awesome. Especially Bill who always made sure that we were comfortable and fulfilled all our needs. Telling us how to get around , giving us little advice and so on. If ever I go back to Athens, I’ll definitely be staying at Victory Inn.

Cute little hotel with really really friendly staff. Not in a main touristy area, but easy to access transport (metro or buses) or just stroll towards the Acropolis until you hit the crowds. On a quiet street in what seems like a hip area, plenty of local food around for a more authentic, casual experience.

If you like a small hotel that is out-of-the way and quaint, this one is for you. It is a short walk to a plaza with local restaurants and a very nice Greek Orthodox church. This is not the heart of Athens but on the edges. We paid 45 Euros for taxi fare. Breakfast is an extra 8 Euros but is very good. The hotel staff were great and willing to help solve all of our problems. I recommend it for the traveler who is willing to forgo luxury for the experience.
