"The hotel was great, comfortable, clean, good breakfast, very nice helpful staff, and reasonably priced. It is a little dated and some of the furnishings like shower curtains and bedroom curtains could be replaced but it didn't detract from the overall experience. It is within walking distance of a few restaurants and very easy access to the highway. It had a huge pool and an exercise room as well as snack machines and other amenities. We would definitely stay there again. "

"We have been staying at this Super 8 for the past two years, while our daughter was attending OU. Our daughter graduated yesterday and we just moved her to her new location in Columbus. We appreciate our times staying at Super 8 E State St. Athens. "

"The place needs some work and cleaning(swept)but overall alright. The bed was comfortable and clean. The kitchen, "commons area" and bathroom were alright but again need swept. The location is awesome. The view and trail into the forest is wonderful. The front stairs are a workout, as well as the driveway/parking hill in back. I saw no towels but didnt ask for any."
