Not recommended
Location is good is the only positive thing, but there are many other hotels in the area. Air conditioner was not working at all, we had to go ger a fan at 3 am. The bathroom was horrible, shower curtain would not go around the corner shower spraying water all over. Room did not have any natural lighting.. had windows that opened to an inside area. Breakfast had boiled eggs, sandwich bread no toaster, jam ans cheese... could not call this a buffet

The property needs to be updated to the 21st century. I didn’t stay, I checked in and within 2 hours I was out. I wasted my money, the pictures are very deceiving.

This hotel is flat out disgusting. The Hotels.com reviews were pretty positive for a cheap hotel but in reality this is a horrible place to stay. The AC didnt work, there was no Wi-Fi, we couldnt even shower because water would come flooding out of the drain in the middle of the bathroom. The linens were soiled, the mattresses were stained and the walls were filthy. The worst of it all were the DIRTY FOOTPRINTS all inside the closet...It looked as though someone had been living in there in secret. Worst hotel i have ever been in. It's not at all worth the money that you save. Do yourself a favour and book anywhere else.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at. The staff is very rude. There is no functioning WiFi or air conditioning. In 30 degree heat, they provided one table fan for three persons. The breakfast was of appalling quality. There is no room service and the bedsheets or towels were not changed during our 3 day stay. The hotel also charged us for fees (local taxes) which were already on the Expedia payment receipt. When we asked for the money returned to us after our stay, they verbally abused us with racist slurs.

Staff is nice, just the room was not what i expected. Old school tv with one channel(doesn't matter much) I got the standard room(cheapest) by price. First of all the beds were not durable at all, very soft and the plak popped out from one of them. (Had 2 twin beds) there was no AC(they gave me the fan), had one power outlet, the shower i used twice in a day and had to use cold water because there wasn't any warm water(i had warm water the next day) by that time i have already booked another hotel.

Property in industrial are vs tourist area with lots of restaurants. Very noisy street. No a/c that we could find. No outside fresh air unless you leave patio door open. Food was actually pretty good.

The day shift staff is okay, the night shift gentleman sleeps all night and if you dare ask a question, his response is always tomorrow.. The room was cleaned two times in 14 days. They asked another two times but I declined because they did not really clean. There was lint under the beds, had to buy own shampoo and soap, and fridge was never cleaned. Would not recommend and will never go back.

They gave our large family room to locals and then gave us two small poor condition rooms. We are traveling with 3 children and they wanted us to put our children alone in a room down the hall. All the locals were allowed free travel in and out of the hotel where as we were stopped everytime and

Hotel is not in best condition at this time. On other hand few members of staff were very kind and helpful. Overall hotel need some improvements such as mattress. Very positive side is the place of the hotel. Local street shopping is near and Bread Backery is just around the hotel and the food is outstanding.

Even though it looks OK and relatively affordable the place inside is so old, so damaged, and so very dirty. The room's awful smell of cigarette smoke was disgusting! I feel bad for complaining but our room was so bad we left and walked around Athens to find a hotel late at night! The people are friendly but so dirty!

We are OK and satisfied with this hotel, especially of its convenience location. It closes to the metro station, "Hop on - Hop Off" buses, and Karaiskaki Square. Bakery, restaurants are nearby. About 15 minutes walking to Omonia Square. Staff members are friendly. Remember there are 3 different companies that run the "Hop on - Hop off" bus lines, but you can catch any of them within 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The cost of taking a Taxi from the hotel to the airport is about 35 Euros to max 40 Euros. Or you may save money by taking a metro nearby to the airport.

Shame on hotels.com. This place was in a war zone. We should have canned it back to the airport rather than stay in this dump. It was. -3 star(negative). We were frightened by the owner. Staff smelled. Do Not stay here!!

There was 5 of us so we got a double room. I don't know what the other rooms were like but this was basically 2 rooms with beds. There was no sitting area, no tea and coffee or even a kettle, no iron, no room service, no laundry service. TV didn't work and it took an hour of going up and down to the front desk to get the air conditioner to work. If you just want a place to crash then it's ok but if you want a hotel room then go somewhere else!

Last resort.
Most of the lights didn't work, the 2 that did made the room look like a brothel. Shower head not fixed. Many flies. Safe was broken. Ignored request for double bed, but rectified after check in. Neighbourhood not the greatest. Get what you pay for (marginally)

Cheap and convenient
The location was good. Watch out for extra charges for a very mediocre breakfast. You can get cheaper and better at the nearby Bread Factory. The hotel was very basic. There was a phone it the room that was purely a prop. The maid seemed to take away towels each day and did not replace, and did not even think to replace toilet paper when it ran out. The internet is dodgy, requiring new passwords every couple hours - which meant constant trips down to the lobby. We stayed four nights, the first two nights were quiet, but on the second two nights the hotel hosted a group of rowdy teenagers who screamed and yelled and slammed doors all night with no supervision. Not pleasant. I found the bed reasonably comfortable and the sheets were nice.

The Hotel hummmmmm.
The rooms did not have real beds they were portable pull outs, do you know what it's like to sleep on that for 2weeks? Horrible. We all have back pains. The refrigerator did not fully get cold we complained about that and they told us to put it in there fridge, that's not the point! We wanted the comfort of having it in our room, not having to travel 3floors everytime we wanted a drink. They only put out soap for 3 people and we were 4 we had to complain about that as well. They did not have a bow dryer, you had to take a shower and go down stairs 3floors to ask to borrow. The hotel is a 2 star hotel not a 4 star. I am very disappointed in that. I feel like I over paid for services that were very poor. The Manager was ver unprofessional, and very rude. There was only one lady in the front that was nice. The Internet service was terrible. You had to renew every 3 hours. We had some money that was stolen in the room, the manager was awful. No accountability he said we should have put it in the safe, no I'm sorry for the inconvenience just very heart less. They wanted us to leave the key everytime we went out. That was an inconvenience due to the fact that the consierge was attending there restaurant down stair and we had to always wait till they finished serving people because that came first. Horrible experience.

Hope that whoever runs this hotel read this
The sheets in our room had stains, one with a blood stain. We asked to have them changed, staff does not smile very much which I don't care as long as they do what you request. When we returned late at night nothing had happened. Next day we asked again and nothing again. We asked one more time and It was until then they changed sheets with ones with fewer stains but not acceptable either. Every day we had to ask for towels since they only left two towels in the bathroom. By the way the towels were old. The rooms are clean when you get there, but they never clean them again. I was there for 6 nights and no cleaning. It is a shame because the building is a nice building and they do keep the reception and surroundings clean. They could improve their quality so easily but it seems they are happy with a mediocre hotel. They did not show any interest to make you feel comfortable or happy. I know it is a cheap hotel but they could make it better with very little. As you can see, the requests we had could have been easily solved but it seems is not part of their practices to listen to their customers. I would not stay there again or recommend it.

WORST HOTEL EVER
This hotel is TERRIBLE. The bed sheets were dirty and full of hairs and blood stains. There was only one plug in the entire room. The entire place wreaked with the smell of cigarettes. the bathroom could not have been any dirtier and nastier. The walls were extremely dirty. The bath tub was so dirty that I took showers with sandals on. They only clean every other day so we had to beg for towels, literally beg. the maid was so irresponsible that one day when we came back at night she had left the key on the door. all of our stuff could have been stolen. The only bright spot was the clerk at the front desk, Stevros. He was very nice and cordial. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANY REASON.

We missed our flight and I called the front desk to let them know we were checking in late. The front desk assistant was not very pleasant. He was hard to understand over the phone. We finally arrived to the hotel and he was still hard to understand. He will talked and walked away.

Really good location.
Lovely hotel, not a five star, full of mod cons hotel however we really enjoyed our stay. We used it as a base to view the wonderful sites of Athens and were able to come and go, no time restrictions. Very helpful when asking for directions. Breakfast was a traditional Greek serving of boiled eggs, ham, cheese and bread. Staff were lovely, room was refreshed daily and upon departure our flight being late evening meant leaving our bags which they were more than happy for us to do.
