Property was perfect for a relaxing overnight stay. My only issue was dining room staff took our order for tea / coffee informed us to use self service but we were not made aware in time that we would have to pre order fried/poached eggs , by the time our eggs were served we had almost finished eating our fried food which was by now cold. We had mot looked at menu as we went instead to use the self service . Clear communication would have prevented this occurring.

Modern hotel with excellent facilities and friendly, efficient staff. We didn't have a car and really appreciated the walkability to the city and even to the bus station

Hotel was lovely clean and staff were friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Food in the bar was beautiful and really good value for money. Our only downside was we went for a relaxing break to make full use of the pool and spa facilities ans when we checked in at 3pm we were told we couldn’t use the pool until 6pm due to swimming lessons on until that time. So we went down to the pool at 6 and when we got there was told the pool is closed from 6/6.30 due to aqua aerobics.. this was very disappointing as this is what our stay was mainly aimed around.. it was near 7pm before we got into the pool facilities and last food order at the bar grill is 8.45pm so everything was very rushed.. if it was stated on website that the facilities are closed of for most of the day due to other activities we would of booked another hotel..

Nice One Night Stay
Nice stay in hotel, only disappointment was the pool not being available due to being booked. If the pool is one of the reasons to book Hotel check first the availability of the pool.

If you’re looking for a short break this is the place to go. The Armagh city hotel has all you need. Staff are so friendly, rooms are clean and ample size.food is excellent walking distance to shops and restaurants, golf course next door live music in the bar. You won’t be disappointed.

I liked the availability of a swimming pool but found the opening hours a bit restricted. I think drinking water should be available in the room. Paper and envelopes were supplied but no pen. It just happened that I didn't have a pen with me so this was a bit of a small gripe.
