I was shortchanged. The papery that is being marketed as partial ocean view is a dark claustrophobic unit close to property boundary , farthest from ocean. I am waiting for refund

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better property/location for the money. Stunning views, well kept grounds, incredibly friendly and convenient staff. Could not possibly complement this resort more.

We were assigned a room that had a gas leak, they were to send someone out to inspect it, he came out, said it was the chimney had too much soup in it because they didn’t have enough staff to take care of everything. We were told they were going to return to the room and repair the gas leak in the fireplace. Nobody ever returned. We chose this location because we wanted the Mother’s Day brunch. They’ve taken away the mimosas, you have to pay for them, and they were very understaffed, so their selection of some food types was very minimal. I won’t go back and I recommend looking somewhere else

Amazing. Highly recommend for families. Beach is only a 10 minute walk and shopping and restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk too. Really clean and customer service was amazing.

Our Vitamin Sea
We love Seascape. We have stayed there several times. It is wonderful to have a room where we can and eat with a lovely kitchenette. The view heals us every time.

I went there for my birthday this year. You guys went above and beyond! Especially the front desk worker on Jan 1st evening. I had an issue with Expedia and the manager helped me over the phone before booking. I will stay there again for sure even thinking about holding my wedding there in the next year. Thank you guys for a great birthday. Other than the Dead Sea lion on shore I enjoyed every second.

May I just suggest that the heating system in the rooms be double-checked during winter before guests move into the rooms. Gorgeous property, wonderful scenery and beach access. We will be back.

We have been to Seascape many times. It has beautiful views and is in a wonderful location! The staff were very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our ocean views immensely! The only reason I didn’t give a higher review was an elevator that was broken during our stay. We were on the 3rd floor and hoofing it with our luggage etc was not a good time! We also notes areas in the place that were thick with dust where they had not been cleaned. The left door on closet was not working.

Check renovation status
When we first checked in we went to our room and there was a miscommunication with housekeeping and the room was in fact not ready or clean. We were credited, and loved to a better location actually which was nice. However, we didn’t realize the units are all totally different. Our first unit was totally renovated and a nicer layout with the bedrooms on the same floor. The second unit was a nicer location/view but not renovated at all. The bathrooms were dark and dingy, the dishwasher couldn’t open without slamming into a cabinet handle. The washer unit where you put the soap couldn’t open further than a couple of inches because of running into the fridge. The window sill in the downstairs of our unit was completely falling off, one of the shades for the windows was inoperable(no cord). Next time we will just make sure we push for a renovated unit. Otherwise, the resort is beautiful, the restaurant and service were amazing.

Relaxed and Recharged
This was our first stay at Seascape, it was a much needed getaway to unwind, relax and recharge. My husband and I were beyond amazed at the beautiful scenery and hotel. Our room was very clean and plenty of space with a view to the pool and ocean. The only thing needed is more security cameras for the parking lots. Unfortunately; when we were loading our luggage in our car, we noticed our car had been hit by another car while parked in the front lobby parking lot. We would have thought cameras would have captured this incident. Although this was a bit frustrating, it won't discourage us from returning for another vacation getaway at Seascape Beach Resort.

A fabulous family friendly resort.
We spent the week of Christmas at the resort. The weather was fabulous and there was something for everyone to do. We utilized the fitness club in the village to attend yoga and Pilates classes as well as playing Pickleball and basketball. Played spike ball on the beach each day and watched the sunset from the pool. The village shops are across from the resort with a great coffee shop, pizza parlour, Chinese restaurant, and local grocery store. Left the resort one day for a quick drive into Capitola for clam chowder at Zelda’s on the beach. Seascape was the perfect getaway and we have decided this will become a Christmas tradition for our family.

beautiful grounds and well appointed rooms but you are high up on a bluff (which is a fabulous view but quite the hike down to the beach). spa tub was awesome! kitchenette really does have everything you need (fridge, toaster, microwave, stovetop and even a dishwasher). but in our particular room, the smoke alarm went off after a hot shower and the fireplace smelt like gas. other than that, it's a beautiful resort.
