The Hotel is beautiful the Location is stunning all Staff are excellent our Room was excellent and had everything that we needed in it also there is a Caddy outside the Rooms with extra Tea Coffee Biscuits and Toiletries when needed compliments to the Chef on all Meals this is our fourth time at this Hotel and we will be back again.
We had a fabulous stay at the Holly Tree. The staff were absolutely outstanding and so personable. The property and surrounding.....just WOW. Ive stayed in and around Glencoe a number of times but this hotel is the best by far. 5 star 🌟. Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable experience 😁
The Hotel was lovely stunning scenery Staff were very friendly and helpful the Food was excellent Our Room was clean and had everything that we needed in it we had a Room with a Balcony which was beautiful we will be back again
As someone who’s worked in the service industry, rejecting a customer’s request to sit by the window giving the reason that it is for four persons while clearly right next to it there were only two customers sitting with the same layout would be unseemly. Simply removing two sets of cutlery on the table to “qualify” the customers when the restaurant was not even 1/3 full came across as a difficult demand which the staff found hard to accommodate. No apologies, no explanation, no service recovery. I don’t know if it’s racism or simply bad hospitality.
Set in an old railway station with stunning views across Loch Linnhe. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Room was very spacious with a really nice veranda overlooking the loch. The pool and hot-tub were a nice bonus.
A very lucky find. A great hotel in an exceptional location beside a sea loch, with very good facilities and friendly staff. The view of the sunset over the loch from our room was stunning. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there and were fascinated by the history of the place as a former railway station.
Another enjoyable and comfortable stay. Excellent Dinner. Disappointing breakfast (compared to last year). no pastries, no fresh fruit (other than an apple or orange). soggy 4 half slices of toast and one cup of coffee.
Really Great! Our room was very cute, and clean, the restaurant was really good, if you eat there, definitely try the cheesecake for dessert, maybe the best I have ever had! Shout out to Madeline, she was really great!

Stunning location. Exterior could do with a tidy-up. Redecoration long overdue. Captain's Rooms were excellent - spotless refurbished bathrooms. Food and service were really good.

This hotel was really awful. The room was located near the staffroom, kitchen and large cupboards outside of it. Noise throughout our stay, during the day and night was disgraceful. The cost for the stay was overwhelming considering the state of the room, no water, no fridge, no paperwork showing the pool or hotel services. Staff seemed shattered and unhappy. I wrote my concerns in an email to the hotel manager and no reply. I would certainly never recommend this hotel.
Room was spotless except the bathroom door and skirting boards were quite dirty. Other internal doors in corridor were also grubby around the handles and wheee the door was being pushed open . Sound petty but it did spoil an otherwise lovely hotel
Stayed here quite a few times now. Standard of service good, although they have stopped making up rooms on a daily basis, I suspect due to shortage of staff. Good restaurant
Beautiful location and views right on the lochside. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast great, and the pool is lovely. Have stayed here before and will stay again.
We arrived early, made welcome and able to use pool if required, made use off bar. Room allocated at time stated. Large room, very clean and view from room looking out over loch and hills were amazing. Had 2 evening meals during our stay along with breakfast both amazing, plates always empty.
The hotel has declined in recent years. Untidy under the stairs, chipped paintwork, tatty reception area and disappointing quality of food. A tough duck breast during the evening meal and a poor quality experience at breakfast confirmed that we shall not be returning.
The staff were all young and were lovely and helpful but the quality of 5 years ago has all gone. Such a shame.
We had room with balcony. Views were amazing. Food was great too. Hotel in lovely location. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again
View was worth the price on its own. Fantastic all round the buffet breakfast being the only disappointment.

good location but not great accommodation
Very nice location over looking the loch but our Lake view room had a rather unpleasant corrugated roof of room underneath right in the vision. Breakfast is not that great. Our room was above the swimming pool and therefore was noisy and very humid
A very good friendly run hotel in a great location. Having the use of the pool and jacuzzi was a bonus. Bedroom had a great view of the coastline. The dinner in the restaurant was probably the best in the 12 night trip.
Very comfortable hotel in a beautiful location. Received a very warm welcome and all staff were very friendly, engaging and helpful. A great place to stay and will definitely be back - maybe to one of the lodges with the hot-tubs! ;)
Just one night stay but super friendly staff throughout the hotel and so nice to stay somewhere that is genuinely dog friendly. You offered us room service so our nervous dog was more comfortable and brought her 2 sausages for breakfast :)
Room very spacious and again direct access out to the loch side which was perfect for the dog.
A lovely stay, wonderful views, really nice room and very enjoyable dinner looking out over the loch. Very comfortable large bed and really spacious room with seating and table to look out at the view. We had a luxury shower room too. Could just walk straight out onto the pier so felt really close to the loch but also when weather drew in could sit comfortably looking at view from inside. Lovely staff at every stage of our stay - check in, dinner and breakfast.
