I didn’t receive room upgrade that VIP benefits should have permitted. I received an up charge for arriving too early. It was after a very long flight and we were exhausted so I didn’t make a stink. The hotel, amenities, pleasantness of staff was all very good. My only issue was that upon check-in I inquired about places to eat and was only informed of a pricey restaurant across the street from the hotel. I was told by the gentleman that others nearby were”touristy”. After walking just beyond the hotel to toward the flower gardens and nearby cinema, it was clear that there were MANY dining options in the area offering a variety of cuisines within walking distance. The front desk person also gave me the same kind of limited info about how to purchase a ticket to the Van Gogh Museum when the official websites listed them as sold out. So you know you CAN actually purchase tickets from other entities including Expedia which offers different options with a few different companies. Please have desk staff share all options upon request. For the most part, everyone else was super friendly. All of the female front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast staff were delightful, service great, food was delicious. I’d give the place another try.

Would definitely recommend
Very nice hotel, great location, few nice complimentary drinks in minibar, room was nice size and comfortable. Only issue is I was due to receive a free bottle of wine as a Hotels.com VIP guest but there was nothing!
