Good property mid city location, family oriented
Quite(er) location on upscale mall road, mid way from station and golden temple. Normal rooms are large sized compared to all new hotels, well maintained with wheelchair space. Highly recommended for family. Only downside lawn partly converted to parking.

I stayed there for one day; I wanted to extent my stay but decided to change hotels. This hotel is roomy and located in the middle of everything. You just come out of the hotel and you will get everything; from food to shopping. That is the ONLY good thing I found. I didn’t get WiFi during my entire despite calling multiple times to front office. Room heater didn’t work past 19, and called multiple times on noisy children. Extremely noisy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Lights on the main gate was not enough. Rather it was dark at night on the main gate. It does not seems here is hotel even. Staff is good. Breakfast was OK.

Old property but still good
Stayed for just one night . Property is quite old but still maintained , acceptable in all respects. Big lawns , safe parking , neat & clean ….. I would say value for money . I noticed some aircraft food trolleys of spice jet & air India and expected super breakfast but that was little disappointing. They need to improve on menu specially on quality of food . Overall it was a good stay .

The location was good. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. The rooms were good. However we stayed three nights and never had hot water either in the mornings or the evenings

Amritsar Gem
A quaint little hotel from the old era. The staff were fantastic and service was their moto. Even managed to get us a packed lunch for the return train journey to New delhi ... would recommend

Decent hotel for a short trip
A decent hotel with good food and decently friendly staff. The AC in the rooms being centrally operated without any system available in the room to manage temperature required us to call reception every time it was too cold or too hot which became annoying after a point especially night time. Rest pool is fine and room size is good and buffet breakfast is good and has a fair spread as well.

Short stay
Stayed at Ritz Plaza for one night room was comfortable on the ground floor staff are slow at responding on basic things like TV not working 4 attempts and a visit before being sorted. Breakfast very basic no toaster for toasting bread. Needs good management to keep on top of staff who have a very lazy attitude to customers needs.

Looks good online only - nightmare to stay at.
Room had a terrible moldy smell. Small bathroom stank of urine from previous use. Hotel offered to show alternate room, which was the same. There dirty mattresses lying around in the hallway. Hotel manager was rude and crude and failed to understand our complaints. We checked out within an hour and moved into a different hotel at extra cost to us. Complained to WOTIF, who negotiated with the hotel a refund of only 1/2 the deposit. Insisting for refund of at least 3/4 of our deposit. Overall bad experience. Wotif should inspect hotels before enlisting them on their site, keeping overseas clientele in view. Hotel manager lied that we had used two bottles of water. We had used only one, which was supposed to be complimentary anyway. He nevertheless charged us Rs 80.00 (equivalent to the cost of 4 bottles) and did not give any receipt. Strongly recommend anyone against staying at this hotel.

Hotel located on mall Road, Good connectivity. It's an old Hotel dated back to 1963. Quiet Surroundings but lost in old times Need to upgrade its decor. Food Ok Ok for Families but not for Business Trips

Nice location but worst service
Poor service , hotel looks nice from outside but from inside everything is old and broken stage, when we checked in our door was broken then while taking shower the handle came out, called maintenance to open our room safe but no one come, AC didn't work and the worst thing is no Hot water.

Perfect location for a stay in Amritsar
The hotel was comfortable and well managed. My room was spacious and clean. It had good WiFi, plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. Although I think the pictures advertising the hotel were taken a while ago and in better times, the hotel still has a charm and the interior is well maintained and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff - the manager in the restaurant is a real character - and very helpful. From the hotel it is easy to get to the Golden Temple and the station and is a short walk from the interesting Ranjit Singh Panorama/Museum and park. I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Amritsar.

Excellent service in a quiet location
The pick-up service from the airport was excellent. The same driver provided transport the next day to the border ceremony, also excellent service. The restaurant manager was friendly and helpful explaining all the food items and ensuring we had delicious meals. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet.

פקיד הקבלה היה זוועתי לא הסכים לעזור .טען שאין אוטובוס ישיר לדרמסאלה ושאקח מונית 10000רופי מזלי שמנהלת המלון שמעה אותו והתערבה ואז קבלתי ממנה את כל העזרה כולל אוטובוס ישיר לדרמסאלה ב 600 רופי בלבד
