Untidy and unpleasant staff. Hygiene and cleaning issues. Staines of blood noted on the mattress and pillow . Staff said blood stained cannot be removed easily but linens are washed. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. When requested for refund, staff refused and I called police help to resolve the matter. Took 3 hours to get our refund.

The best part of thew property is the location. Literally within 10 minutes pleasant walking distance to the golden temple and the main market. It is literally 5 minutes walk to the main city centre from where one can take an open air Bus to the wagah border.
Though the hotel needs some serious working on the following:-
1) the shower had very little flow and it was fixed only on the morning we were checking out.
2) on the morning of check out the water was scalding hot. That was sadly never fixed. Everything should be checked before the room is given.
3) somehow the credit card machine didn't function on last day and i had to make payment via e wallet. This won't be accepted by everyonw. You must have functional credit card machines at all time.
4) the back door entry/exit road is very dirty. That should be fixed.
This hotel is to the side of Partition Museum so it’s in a very convenient location. It’s accessed through a small alleyway which needs improving with bright lighting and an illuminated hotel sign at the road entrance. It’s a fairly new building so everything is clean and functioning. Check-in/check-out was quick and straight forward. Rooms are compact but clean and well laid out with all amenities including tea/coffee maker. King size bed with clean linen is comfortable. A.C. and fan also work well. Wi-fi internet is super fast. The rainfall shower is probably the best feature of the room which surpasses even some 5 star hotels. A clothing iron/press is available but no ironing board. A table lamp on the desk would be useful. There’s a restaurant and ample open space on the roof. Sadly this is not utilised to its full potential. It could easily be configured as a Seating/relaxing/Bar area for guests. Buffet breakfast is not laid out in the restaurant. Instead the hotel prefers guests to place orders by phone to reception. On the whole I am happy with this hotel and would stay again.
