Check-in was easy but we were challenged by a group of bikers who camped out in the lobby and were so loud we could barely hold a conversation with the staff member. A fire alarm pulled by a guest in the middle of the night added to the drama. No firetrucks arrived and guests were not instructed that it was safe to return, When the alarm stopped, guests went back to their rooms. The refrigerator in our room did not work and the bathroom lighting is poor at best.

The 2 queen bed room is advertised as being for 5 people, but it only has enough room for 4 people. The hotel does not have roll away beds, so our son has to sleep on blankets on the floor. The woman at the front desk was wonderful and so helpful, she has great customer service!!!

We found this property well situated. Even though it was right beside the I-40, it was well insulated and quiet. The full breakfast was sufficient with eggs and sausages. The young man, Christian, at the front desk was very helpful. The only disappointment was that the hot tub was out of order. I often look for a hotel with a hot tub so that was a really unfortunate, otherwise everything else was great!

The breakfast was gross. The bed was uncomfortable. The check in process on my first day was horrible. No staf were smiling and all of them seemed to be frustrated and upset.

Not sure how this property is rated so highly on this platform. It's definitely a much older property than you might expect from the review scores. If you like really firm beds, this is for you.

Bad News Property
This property is badly in need of a renovation. Not being maintained at all. Uncomfortable bed. Tiny bathroom with no amenities. Assigned to a room @ check-in and put our things in the room and went to dinner. Rec'd call before we made it to restaurant and were told we had been put in the wrong room. were told needed to move our things to a room across the hall. Have never had this experience before. Front desk clerk ended up comping the room.

Overall ok, just a bit dated. The breakgast left a lot to be desired. You basically had to ask for a slice of bread since there were only 2 out. Everything seemed very sparse.

We checked in around 1am after driving from Colorado. Night staff person was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, check in was quick and we were in our room and asleep in no time. Would definitely stay here again if needed.

Property is close to Cardiology Center of Amarillo and most medical. Older and experienced staff is very responsive. Favorite spot and highly recommended for overnight stays for VA appointments.

What I didn’t like about staying here was..The drainage in the bathtub wasn’t working..Hair build up inside it..My husband is not a maintenance there but he got down on his knees to clean it out..PLEASE clean all bathtubs!

It was good, it can be better.
It was good to okey. The rooms were clean. Swimming pool and SPA were under maintenance. We chose this over another for the pool due to kids, so it was a disappointment. I would hope hotels would advertise these things on the site. Breakfast was okey -- we are vegetarian and there wasn't even regular bread. Others may like it. We had good experience with Fairfield in Chicago that catered to vegetarian / vegan but this does not even cut it. The front desk was nice, although they did not carry lotion !! If little things do not bother you, it was a nice stay.
