The condition of the hotel was not very good. There was racks in the walls, bathroom door didnt close and latch shut properly, the ac kept tripping out, there seemed to be no outside landscaping. The milk thistle plants were as tall as me, weeds growing all over the place, there was even bullet holes in some windows. The hotel room was not clean, found trash on the desk, on top of the counter top by the mini fridge, pieces of toilet paper in the floor around the toilet. The water in the bath tub never shut off all the way, it kept a small stream of water flowing. And then the surprise charge to park in the hotel parking lot, after it all, the desk clerk just said it was for if there were services charged to the room, she never mentioned a charge for parking. She just said heres your parking permit ans walked away after that. Will not stay here again or even refer anyone to the property!!!!

The staff was incredibly rude, the 2 rooms i booked were never cleaned or stocked with anything! We had to call the front desk about 10 plus times just to get toilet paper, towels, coffee, cups, liners for our ice buckets. The list goes on. I will NEVER EVER stay here again!

The property is not kept up. Inside is OK but the outside is awful. Really don't understand why there is a $10 parking charge since it is in Amarillo and not downtown.

Property is under a remodel which was not advertised. Spa and pool closed. Coffee machine was broking. Went to front desk and ask for coffee and they said it takes forever. Hopefully if we get a enough complaints, we will get a new coffee mChine. Dont stay here. Super dirty and tons of homeless in parking lot.

The room was comfortable and the shower was nice. It was as expected for the price. But look, when you charge $10 for parking in a big open lot in West Texas, you deserve negative three stars. It’s literally highway robbery, the highway being I-40 and the robbery taking place when you check in. I keep thinking about the good things I would’ve done with that $10 and I keep getting choked up about it.

Was not impressed. Room was average, bathroom was not clean. TV wasn't working. Pool was not very clean and the Hot tub was not available, not sure what the issue was. Nothing was said when we checked in that it wasn't working.

Expected more of a Marriot property vs a Motel 6
Drywall above shower was sagging, stained, bathroom fixtures and room in general needed updating, There were stains on carpeting and walls. The mattress and bedding were of better than average quality, The public areas were very nice. There were hidden fees not shown on Hotels.com that almost matched the price of the room, Housekeeping was excellent, front desk did the bare minimum work required.

They charge for park, which is Ludicrous in a location like this. The hotel is desperately in need of a remodel. Old furniture with stains, carpet stains, overpriced breakfast should be included when the building is crumbling around you. Door keys don’t work THROUGHOUT ENTIRE HOTEL, mini fridge didn’t work, and it ruined my 40$ vitamin that needed refrigeration, and a refund on parking that I shouldn’t have to pay for was all I got.

This is a great place for a short stay ($72 plus $10 parking). They need to work on cleanliness of the hotel. I stayed Monday and Friday of the same week. There were broken crackers in the workout room that hadn’t been cleaned i between visits. Ice machine on first floor and hot tub were also broken. None of these are huge issues for me and i will stay here again as an employee told me they are about to renevate the entire hotel in march.

Don’t recommend staying here
Room was very disappointing. It was pretty dirty, smelled, and the tv barely worked. It needed to be restarted every time the channel was changed. The bathroom had used soap bars and hair in the tub. The biggest issue was the beds and bedding. The beds we broken and leaned badly into the middle while the sheets were very scratchy and caused us to become itchy. We believe it’s the harsh detergent they used but aren’t sure. I have no allergies and have never had a reaction like that. The staff was very nice but the hotel condition is far below the Marriott standard.

A fee was charged for parking. This is a "strip" property - now special parking. I have stayed at multiple similar properties and never levied a parking charge. Most similar venues also have a complimentary breakfast/coffee included, again this site levies an additional charge. There were no cups for the courtesy coffee in the room, so I had to travel to the lobby to find suitable cups. Checkin clerk needs better people skills. Won't book again.

I booked with 2 adults and 3 teenagers to which there were only 2 towels in the hotel. I also searched before I booked that breakfast be included, it wasn't and of course none of my booking confirmations said that either. Beds were not as compfy as I expect from a Marriot.

This was the worst Courtyard I have ever stayed in. The first room they put us in had rust all over the inside of the shower. Also had stains on the furniture and hair on the bed. The second room was a tad bit better but still had hair in the shower. I will never stay here again

Stay away from this place should be closed
Awful hotel, room was dirty, 8 completely loose and cracked tiles in bathroom. Hair direr sparked and smoked and almost caugh fire when used. No one in lobby at the front desk, i Waited over 5 minutes wondering what was going on. I went back out to my car and called no answer. Went back in and the person showed up. The entire hotel was dated and looked like. It hasn't been updated in twenty five years.

Nasty rooms smells like animal beds
The room smelled like urine and not sure if it was human or from a dog or cat. The pillows and bedding covers all had a weird smell and my kids and myself were all itchy when laying on it. We stayed since there wasn’t any availability at other places at the moment but I probably got an hour of sleep with how uncomfortable I was. It was supposed to be a pit stop to rest before continue road trip but that stop didn’t help at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The front desk lady was friendly though.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel to stay for this trip was it has a hot tub. The hot tub was empty when we checked in. The food in the 'restaurant' was way too expensive. The bed wasn't very comfortable and no microwave in the room. We won't stay here again.

The bed is ok but not the greatest. They sit the bed really low to the ground. It is possible they put us in a handicapped room, but can't confirm. Sizable room with decent enough amenities but the tv is poorly placed. Weirdly designed layout. No tissues provided. No freezer only fridge. One of the attached shampoos in the shower just fell off the wall randomly while we were not in the room. There is no breakfast here but a small cafe you pay for. You really need to be better about keeping up with your coffee bar. It was 7am and near no milk in the canisters. When I asked about it, I was told "we put only a little in there because otherwise it will go bad and get gross. so we have to refill it." I said that it was empty and she didn't refill it. Hello?! I needed milk hence why I was asking about it. I was also trying to get out the door as soon as possible.

There was dog and human hair all on the bedding and pillows. The furniture and comforter had stains all over them. There was a weird smell. My daughter couldn't even sit down. We checked in and checked back out within 15 minutes and got another hotel up the road. The hotel would not give us our refund because we booked through Hotels.com. I'm still waiting for a response for my refund.

Very disappointing.
Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. The only positive I can say. We had 2 rooms in Amarillo on our way to Colorado and 2 on the way back. Door locks rarely worked with several trips to get new keys. Very frustrating when you’ve been on the road for 9 hours. Hair and debris in almost every bed. Had to request new linens both times. This is not how Marriott does it. Don’t bother with booking insurance. No one would honor it when I tried to cancel on the way back. Very disappointed. Never again.

Experience was disappointing. Room TV didn't work. Front desk staff was not able to help. She was not able to switch to other room. Room was not stock with enough towels. Had to visit front desk for same. Property was not clean. I think this property needs refurbishing. For a Marriott its a disgrace.
