"Very good front desk and breakfast help (Ernest). Breakfast was better than other motel breakfasts, with corn taquitos or "tornados" & salsa. And they offer at least one regular (not sugar-ladened) cereal: Cheerios! (Bran Flakes would be good option, too! Area is quiet in general. Awoke to the Mockingbird. I didn't like having to carry our heavy bags up and down the stairs. The newly-renovated room APPEARED elegant enough. Th AC worked well for the front seating area, while the back bed area...

"From check in to check out we had a great experience with staff. Easy and convenient location, super quiet, and away from the bustling new orleans but just within reach! "Comfortable, clean but old needing repairs. The hall rugs definitely need replacement. Our room was nice but the bathroom needs to be remodeled. The bathtub is dangerous and the toilet has cracks in it. Also there is no exhaust fan and everything gets streamed up. Good breakfasts. "
