"The room was very minimal. Sort of like a youth hostel. It’s nicely located near restaurants and shops and the views of Mt. Blanc are spectacular from that side of the hotel. It doesn’t have air conditioning and because Chamonix is getting warmer like the rest of the planet, which means sleeping in summer months with the windows open. That was problematic for us because there was quite a bit of noise from people below until the wee hours of the night (1:30 am). We asked the front desk if they could say something to one hotel room adjacent to ours but either they didn’t do it or it was ineffective. Chamonix is spectacular however."
