"I have stayed here many times but this may be my last. FIBA World Cup is in town but they are more concerned about that than, giving each customer satisfactory service. My A/C in the room would not get cold and it took forever for the water to get hot. I payed for the breakfast and they gave me issues. Double Tree used to be a reliable place to stay but I have received better service and amenities at newly designed motel."

"The room was clean but sparse. Bathroom room amenities towels, tissues etc were portion controlled. 4-6 tissues in the dispenser. Had to ask 2x for extra towels. Couldn't get an extra blanket. The refrigerator & the air conditioner to be replaced. However they did offer a complimentary breakfast. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions."

"The view from our room was stunning. This is the cleanest hotel I have been to in Houston area. I am so impressed by the efforts put in to keep this facility so clean. The downside was having to go from 28th floor to the lobby to use the microwave oven. One on each floor could make a whole lot of difference. Above all, we had an excellent time in this hotel."

"It was very hot in the lobby and hallways. The freezer wasn’t working in the pantry and we purchased a melted ice cream cookie sandwich. They did refund it though. Overall it was okay, but we likely wouldn’t stay there again."
