They had turned from Summer to Winter so the air-conditioning was off. Only the heat worked which made the room too warm.

Hotel is nice and modern. Jr. suite was large only issue was the shower has like a half door and water went all over the floor after every use. We possibly didn’t use it right but I think we did. Breakfast had variety and was delicious. We only ate lunch in the hotel once it was ok but kinda pricey tons of other restaurants close by and more affordable. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and it’s very safe. We stayed 8 nights and had a great time. Lots of other towns close by to visit also.

Very nice hotel, clean , great location. The downside are the confusion at breakfast with the tweezers to use for taking items and not available jacuzzi because of covid when in the pool is ok.

Great hotel, comfortable, excellent stay
The Prime Energize is my number one choice for Monte Gordo. No disrespect to the area, but this hotel is far superior to most of the other hotels in Monte Gordo. Very good restaurant and spa.

Every staff member was really friendly and always had a warm friendly smile from the cleaners in the morning to the restaurant and bar workers. Joao the restaurant manager could'nt do enough for us. We had an infant with us and he was soo helpful and kind to us, as were all the staff members. This made a big difference to our stay. The rooms were clean

The Prime Energize is a Primo Property
The Prime Energize is one of the best hotels in the whole of the Algarve. It is comfortable, stylish, priced well, and in a great location. Fuel is a very good restaurant for any meal; breakfast was especially good. For me, a good night's sleep is the most important aspect of my stay. My room was spacious, quiet and the mattress and linen were outstanding -- Portuguese cotton sheets no doubt.I have already booked my next stay. I'd also like to comment about Catarina at reception; she made me feel welcome and provided lots of good tips for my time in Monte Gordo -- a very unpretentious and attractive town.

Breakfast was superb, lots of choice including freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly helpful staff. Big room and nice products to use in the bathroom.

The staff were fantastic, so helpful, polite and friendly , excellent breakfast food choice and marvellous service in the restaurant . The hotel is lovely and is the perfect location for the beach and there are loads of nice cafes and restaurants within a short walk . I will definitely be returning

The room was big and spacious, clear and well presented. I went away with my partner for a couple of days without child, I’m sure I said I wanted a double bed room. Got two single beds side by side not the most comfortable beds in the heat of the moment or when trying to relax next to one another.

Decor was really lovely, everything was really clean, bed was super comfy, roof top pool was great, made use of the relaxing spa facilities, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel spoiled by dogs barking.
This is a really nice hotel. Lovely staff, excellent facilities, clean, modern and great location. Unfortunately there is one big down side. Just outside the hotel, there are a number of private houses where there are 4 or 5 big dogs. These dogs bark very loudly whenever someone passes their house and one dog then sets off another one. Sometimes they appear to bark for no reason. This goes on during the night and is especially noisy first thing in the morning. We mentioned this to the hotel staff who are aware of the problem but state there is nothing they can do as the dogs are within private property and can basically do as they like. I am a big dog lover but this is ridiculous. Did it disturb our sleep - yes. It’s such a shame as the hotel really has no other faults.

Quiet, relaxing, location
The facility is very nice, especially the restaurant and the staff. We stayed four days. The soap, shampoo, coffee, etc. were not replenished though there upon arrival. The hotel was two blocks from the beach so views are not great. Monte Gordo itself is minutes from the Spanish border to the East and is fine if you want quiet, with primarily families and seniors. We cruised the Algarve and would rather have been in Lagos or Albufeira which offer more activities and dining options.

This hotel ticks all the boxes - highly recommend
Exceptionally good hotel - very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, great cocktails, good reasonable priced restaurant, delicious buffet breakfast, massages at the spa (very relaxing), sea view balcony and roof terrace swimming pool. What more could you ask for??! We highly recommend this hotel and are planning to return again soon. Even if we hadn't left the hotel we would still have had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing break. Location good too - short walk to nice beach.

Fabulous hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great location, facilities and pool area. Small and friendly and the extra touches of a bottle of champagne and cake sent to our room for my partners birthday and breakfast boxes made as our flight was early made this really special. Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice new hotel in monte gordo Rooms brand new clean large TVs in the room and amazing shower and bathroom However disappointed that the gym and spa facilities were not available and pool area still not ready Building works were ongoing during our stay Good food especially breakfast but I would say they could add porridge to the breakfast menu and improve bread range I would stay again once they have finished the gym and sauna. very nice staff and good area for running and cycling

Excellent Location, Clean and Modern, BUT...
There are no transfers from/to the airport available. It stated that they provided tea & coffee facilities in the room and they don't. We asked if we could have this added to our room and the receptionist said no. There is a lack of hotel information in the room e.g. no welcome pack, in of about the area nor about room service. The information on the TV is very basic. Overall the breakfast was good, fresh and plenty except one day the scarmbled eggs were green and grey. One night my mother wanted to stay in and we asked the restaurant if they could make her a cheese sandwich so she take it up to her room. They said no as it was agansit the law to serve food not shown on the menu. However, there is room service on the information on the TV. We returned to the room to find that there was no room service menu. Very quiet and felt safe in this location. The beach was only a couple of streets away. This hotel is located in Monte Gordo and San Antanio is a 10 minute bus ride away.
