The staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast bar had a good variety and the food was well prepared. Overall good experience.

We were there at 3pm for a 4pm check in and he waited until the last possible minute for check in. Bathroom door wouldnt close, didnt matter to us but may to aomeone else. They did store our luggage for us while we wandered about. I mentioned i wanted to pay cash and he said fine. He gave us the key card and said elevator is over there but never asked for any money. So i figured ok he forgot and used the card on file or we pay when we leave. Got to the room and after awhile he called saying he needed the money. Said when we go out for dinner ill drop it off. Phoned 30 minutes later and said he would come up to get the money. So he came and got it but never did give me a receipt, which i still havent got. Other then that it was a one night stay and filled our needs.

The hotel needs a complere revamp as it is not suitable for people to stay anymore. Black mould on windows, inside wardrobe, everywhere in the bathroom. Tired and dirty carpets and bathroom floor. Towels with holes. Clean bedding tho. Really wont stay here again.

It's very good place I travel alone so I quiet night sleep top of my list.Its great position in the city handy for marina city centre, the only thing I didn't like was the shower over the bath.Now I explain as an arthritic over 70 I can't stand on one leg to climb over the bath tub as I would fall over so some grab rails would have helped, I know someone will tut tut but slipping up on wet tiles and spending the night on the wet floor, I said earlier I travel alone.Apart from that excellent place to stay and the staff very friendly so three wupps wup wup wup

It was very walkable to the marina , the city center and all other cultural activities. Amazing bakery across the road. Room was very comfortable lots of pillows good sized bathroom.Super continental breakfast..lots of fresh fruit..great service.

Well located property. Kudos to the team that clean the room - they're awesome and always willing to help! The same cannot be said about the reception team. Their heart is not on their work, and they act as if they were doing a favor to you. All in all, there are better hotels in Faro, for the same price.

1st room has mould in bathroom. Exchange another room after complain. Both rooms are in poor condition, very torn down, very dark inside the room. Elevator broke down when check out. I have to carry my 40 lbs suitcase down by stairs. The hotel only spend on lobby renovation, it is a total different world in guest room. I would suggest “stay away” from stay hotel faro Centro.

Hotel has all that is required clean and is central to old town. It's close to a variety of local restaurants and many cafés were excellent value can be had. Close to train and bus terminal 10 minute walk.

The hotel has a prime location in the Old town. There's a lot of restaurants and coffee shops near by. Easy access to the ferry. The hotel itself is very nice, great AC (much needed for this summery weather) and the staff was very friendly.

Very ordinary hotel. Wierd smell in the room and the shower door did not close properly so there was water all over the floor. The staff were not very helpful advising me concerning transportation. The only positive is the fact that it is well situated. Close to the center, marina, bus/train station (less than 10 minute walk).

The property was located close to the center. It was very easy to walk around and explore. There was a nice area for shopping just being the hotel. The only issue is parking. We drive down the block and found something easily but you need to make sure you keep an eye on the parking meter so have change handy.

We had a great welcome at a late hour. The room was clean and simple but the bathroom needed a bit more attention.The breakfast was the best we had on this trip the variety and freshness perfect (we stayed in higher star accommodation) In the center of the old town so great for the sights.

Hotel os close to bus station train and airport, yet very central and within walking distance to the old town. Not being able to regulate the ac was a bit of a problem. It was either freezing cold or steamy hot. Not the dirtiest place I’ve been to but definitely not clean either. Breakfast was decent, staff was pleasing and helpful.

Hospital stay
We have stayed here before. It is a good location for bars & Dining. I had to have surgery at a nearby hospital and the location was good as well. They were able to switch out our room for a standup shower which was great for my husband.

Nice staff, located in great place. Im sure the breakfast was good. Elevator access is good. Tv service wasnt good, little teeny soaps just isnt worth you putting out. No conditioner for hair and the hair dryer cord way to short
