No soft drinks to buy onsite No water to buy onsite No coffee machine in rooms Terrible event in check out very early in the morning. All doors of the hotel are locked The security agent will scream at you when you try to open the door and you do not understand why is locked. He treat you as criminal trying to escape without paying. Although i explain that i want to bring the car next to hotel door before check out. By the way i already spoke a day before to receptionist and she told me that all is payed and i can leave at 5 am and just leave the keys on the reception desk. Terrible treatement from security agent. Otherwise the staff was nice. But they have to work on treating their clients with respect while preventing fraud.

Staff friendly. Nice and convenient to the beach and to Albufeira old town. Unfortunately when we were checking in we were told that the main pool was closed for renovation. Although this didn't spoil our holiday completely, as we were close to the beach anyway, I felt it would have been nice to been told this before arriving. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because it has a pool so as you can imagine our disappointment to hear it was closed. We spent some time around the closed pool to sunbathe but this was not relaxing as there were workers drilling and making lots of noise so we were unable to relax. It would have been nice to know that the pool was closed before arriving, and there was no mention of any reimbursements. Some money off our stay or some drinks at the bar would have been nice.

Got the ocean view room and it was amazing sleeping to the ocean waves. The room was clean, parking was plentiful and beds were comfortable. Wifi isnt as strong but the TV had a good selection. Good breakfast with lots of choices.

Rude reception staff on arrival. The property images and description is misleading on this and other booking sites. There are 2 hotels with the same name. They sell you ‘Luxury’ and then dump you in the other site that is dated and in need of a refurbishment! I was told on arrival that I’d have to pay €40 more per night to stay in the beachfront hotel. The reception staff admitted that they use the beach front hotel as their only address for both sites, and where my Uber dropped me off - I was then made to drag my new suitcase ‘up the hill’ and along the long driveway! I felt mislead at that point in time. I chose a city view room and my view was of a car park of another property and a bit of a dumping ground. The balcony was full of bird excrement and not cleaned in the 4 nights of my stay! The cheap Ikea furniture was badly damaged and falling apart, the bathroom shower was a drizzle and the tiles were damaged and polyfiled rather than replaced. The only requirement that the hotel had was air con, the rest was very disappointing. I chose the hotel on this site as it was the closest to the restaurants. As a solo traveller I wanted to make my trip as safe as possible, instead I was left to walk up a hill and a long driveway making me feel a little unsafe so I had to use Ubers which made my trip more expensive. All in all, a very disappointing stay and be aware that unless you chose a sea view room, you will be mislead and dumped in the basic hotel further up the road.

Beachfront property and beautiful seaview. Couldn't fault the hotel itself, however the staff and the service was poor. We also booked through Expedia and no information was given relating to which building we should go to to check in. Check in process was long and frustrating, when we eventually got the key we were given our room number, no indication of what floor etc and I asked if we can use the pool with the key card (we had noticed when at the wrong building the pool was key entry only) to which they said,i dont know, if it doesn't work come and let us know. Breakfast had a small selection of everything. The rooms were modern and clean. Hotel was great, fantastic location next to a lovely bar and restaurant. Don't be put off by the initial welcome.

It is a very good location, near old town Albufeira. Good value. The room was clean, though outdated. One minor complain, is that we wanted to take a short afternoon nap, but the cleaning ladies were at full swing at 3-5 pm, and very noisy with full conversations and cart noises, vacuum, etc.

Good for the price. Spacious room. The breakfast was exactly the same every day, it was good but some variation is appreciated. Albufeira and the beaches are beautiful!!! I don’t like that if your room is in the old building you can not go to the beach through the lobby of the new building, they told us to walk around the building and access the beach from outside despite we were guests of the same hotel!!!

The Inatel Hotel was much better than I expected. The room was nice. Breakfast was fine. But the location to the old downtown was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Location! Location! Location!
This hotel is all about the views! Our balcony was overlooking the beach so we got sunrise & sunset everyday. Heaven! Lovely buffet style breakfast each morning with plenty of choice. Location is great, just a short walk to the escalators - again stunning views overlooking the old town. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I would add is that the bathroom glass may be frosted but is still fairly well see-through!

I know it was out of season but I loved my stay here. I requested in advance a quiet room on a high floor away from the lifts. When I checked in, they gave me a room on the top floor at the end of the building - brilliant! It was nice and quiet and the breakfast each day was great. Very easy and ample parking. On the occasions I dealt with the staff, they were lovely, helpful and polite. Thank you all for a great stay!

Lovely hotel. We paid a bit extra for a sea view, and it was well worth it....stunning sunrises and sunsets. Great breakfast. Easy walk into main area ( although quite a few places were closed or shut early at this time of year)

My stay at Inatel was very pleasant. I found the staff very helpful and considerate. My son had come to join me for a few days to celebrate a significant birthday and they managed to put him in the room next to mine even though I had not requested this. Neither had I informed them of my upcoming anniversary but, when I returned to the room, there was a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket accompanied by a card with birthday greetings in my native language!(Gaelic) I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and I imagine that I will be availing of the facilities again in the not too distant future!
