This property was situated in middle of old Faro with walking distance to every place imaginable, cafes , restaurants museums. Beautiful Praia de faro beach is a 10 euro Uber away with chairs and umbrellas available and restaurant Bars.. loved this place

The hotel is right in the centre of Faro, in front of the waterfront. It's modern, functional and has good staff. The dining room is on the top floor and has a very useful terrace/ veranda round it, ideal for an evening drink. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was the only meal we ate in the hotel and it was very good with a great range of food. The main snag with the hotel was that being central comes with a cost: the surrounding roads etc were very busy and noisy at night. We couldn't sleep with the window open and the air conditioning was effective but noisy.

2 out of 3 nights of the say, there were loud dripping noises from the vents. We reported this to reception and it appeared resolved but after it recurred and we couldn't sleep the whole night. When we told Reception on check out, they said as we are leaving they couldnt do anything and were most unhelpful. Its disappointing that the majority of our trip was ruined by bad sleep and poor hotel facilities.

Our only real issue was the party going on outside until past midnight on Sunday night after Portugal team won a game. Honking horns, nosy motorbikes, people yelling in the street outside our hotel from 10pm until after midnight.

There was a stench of sewer in the room on checking in and the staff seemed somewhat indifferent. The hotel is in a vibrant restaurant and shopping area but extremely noisy at night. Otherwise the hotel is good and breakfast excellent but the above mentioned negative factors definitely impacted our visit.

Normally stay in AV but deciddd to try HF. Will not make that mistake again. I am not a negative review “troll”. The check in staff were dreadful and I almost walked out at this point I should have. It went from bad to worse. Certainly would not go stay here again. This was OUR experience.

Perfect location, great breakfast.
This hotel is in a perfect location. We could easily walk to buses, trains, and wander the entire city. The staff was excellent, the breakfast outstanding, and there's a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. The rooftop area gives panoramic views of the whole town. The bed wasn't firm enough for me and there was a lot of outside noise during the day, but every thing else was very good.

The hotel was nice and conveniently to the airport. The only issue we had with our stay was tee were no washcloths, shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom.

realize it is off season in february so hotel is doing alot of maintenance the spa area under renovation .. the roof top bar /restaurant is VERY nice great views Weather was poor for our stay so could not enjoy the outdoor portion.

This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient place for the Old Town and sightseeing. It’s handy to the bus station, about a 5 minute walk. There are many restaurants nearby. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was superb with a wide range of foodstuffs. Perhaps the best hotel breakfast we have had on our travels. Would definitely recommend.
