The hotel is about 3 stars with regards to its condition. It is a bit worn out and could be cleaner, but decent enough for short stay. Breakfast was substantial with good hot and cold selections. The shower floor was quite slippery so older travelers may need to be careful. (Hoping they can place grab bars as even for a younger person it can be dangerous.) The staff was VERY helpful and friendly, contrary to what I read in other reviews. Parking was hit or miss, location is a bit far from the center of town but ok if you have a car. Unfortunately next to the hotel is an old abandoned building covered with graffiti. But the view facing the water right outside the hotel (Ponte de Piadade) is spectacular!!!
This is definitely not a luxury hotel but a decent beach hotel, decent price, with easy beach access and views of the beautiful limestone rock formations!
