one of the movie measures named Jessie was very helpful and cocker usually we had problems hurry up which was absolutely good.
but Saturday morning manager, I got his name, wasn't too cooperative about keeping the same room.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Addis Ababa.

Really good hotel and rooms, I was very happy and will go back again - been 3 times.
The only problem I can mention is the road around the hotel which is in pretty poor condition, but the hotel is in a safe area and gives good value for money.

The hotel is excellent and in almost an excellent location... they could fix up the roads leading to the hotel, but not a deal breaker.
Everything is good except for perhaps the warm coffee for breakfast but if that's your only complaint...

My stay was great at the Golden Tulip. The hotel facility as well as my room was nice and comfortable. It is centrally located in Addis Ababa in a busy area with streets around the hotel in bad conditions making it challenging to access the hotel where on foot or driving. The staff are really nice and helpful to customers.

Friendly place with a free and responsive airport shuttle, 24/7. Not overly fancy, but has a reasonable gym and breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with reliable hot water!

The staff is the best, nice people and always ready to go the extra step. An issue with the wifi has been taken seriously and the staff did their utmost to solve the matter which was achieved to larger extent. Great beds, spacious room en good dining at the hotel.

WIFI internet is not available in my room, I have to work in the lobby and cannot work in the room with a decent desk and decent chair. I have complained about the lack of wifi, yet to no avail. This definitively is a dealbreaker for a next visit.

They didn't have my reservation when I arrived and were very rude. Because they didn't have my reservation (I'd already prepaid through Expedia), they failed to pick me up at the airport as well. When they finally (after almost 2 hours) gave us a room, it was a room where someone else was staying....

Avoid Staying in this old property
It was mixed.. the Hotel manager and receptionist were rigid and not supporting to extend the hotel check out timings..very rude and arrogant...breakfast was decent with other hotel staff reasonably well supportive.. the location of the hotel is terrible with no proper approach road...and facing a construction site with a filthy pond..its a very OLD structure with rooms and lobby in old style...no modern update .... AVOID this hotel as much as you can . there are so many better hotels nearby with better facilities and surroundings

To serve one cheese sandwich it took 50 min

Stayed for 2 weeks and was one of the best hotels I've ever been in - was very happy.
The breakfast is not the best I've ever seen but the staff are friendly and very efficient.
I will be back for another 2 weeks.

The area where the hotel is located is very congested, but the staff were extremely polite and helpful with all of my family's needs. The only recommendation I would make would be to add a microwave to each room. Thank you for your hospitality Golden Tulip management and staff.

If I was made aware when I booked that I would not have been able to get the room upgrade. I would have just booked the higher level room. That was very disappointing.
I had other options, I would have taken at other locations if I knew this ahead of time.
The visit went well, staff was fine. They did fail to get me at the airport as planned. It was pouring rain. We had to use another company to call the hotel to come get us. We got socked.
