In the heart of Bur Dubai and convenient if you want to visit the historical district or take a ferry across the creek and explore. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they have 24 hour checkin desk if you are flying in late like we were (after midnight). The property is a little dated but the rooms are spacious. The bed was a little hard for my liking and the shower's lacked hot water at times. One of two the main elevators was broken which lead to longer waits. Was told later there was stairs and a back elevator. There's a cafe/restaurant and a lounge of sorts on the ground floor. They also have a spa and a pool on the top floors but we didn't utilize those. We stayed only 2 nights and it was what we expected, not the most comfortable but allowed us to be around the area we want to see.

When I arrived to do check in, there was no non-smoking room in the hotel as what I observed! When I talked to the reception he said we offer the request but not guarantee. Then the guy offer to downgrade my reservation to a room that are deffernt but non-smoking. In that time, I rejected that and told the guy I will claim that to Expedia and he was not care about it. I taught him that was not proffecinal and his colleuge warn him and told him there is a room that what I reserved. After 15 mins talking and 15 mins waiting the room was ready and had a dish of fruit in the room to say we are sorry! Best,

The only thing I found unpleasant was that there was a sewer smell coming from the toilet in the room. Despite the hotel staff trying to fix it, it didn't go away.

Helpful staff and good location
The main reason for rating this hotel was the staff in all areas who were very helpful and in some cases performed above and beyond expectations. A nice clean hotel in a location within walking distance of a mall and supermarket.

Pros: has all the necessities in the room, with a kitchen, balcony, separate sitting area. Hotel is conveniently located to shopping malls, walking around, using the bus system. Cons: if using the balcony, you can't fully close the balcony door or you will be locked out. Wake up call on the morning of my flight home- was 17 minutes late.

Nice clean hotel for a reasonable price
The hotel is quite modern and clean,close to the bus stop.The staff is friendly and helpful.We had some problems with payment for the stay but it was more down to Expedia than the hotel. I highly recommend the hotel in this price range

I enjoyed my stay here. The concierge was 5 star. My room was great with amazing views on the 18th floor . The food was lovely and the extras like swimming pool & gym facility was cool . Perm was very professional and helped me choose places of interest to see in Abu dahbi & Dubai . He and his colleagues were very helpful throughout with taxi , directions & many other things It’s a wonderful place to stay . Don’t hesistate to book ur stay here .
