"Absolutely amazing stay at The Hummingbird in Bocas del Toro. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxing. The rooms, pool, and overall layout are stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. The location is also perfect, just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy walks and nearby beach bars. "Cosmic Crab was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed. As a solo female traveler, I immediately felt welcomed, safe, and comfortable. The property is family-owned, and you can truly feel that in the atmosphere. The owner is incredibly kind and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The overwater bungalow was a dream come true. Falling asleep to the sound of the water and waking up to beautiful views every morning never got old. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. I also loved how walkable the area was. I enjoyed taking daily walks around Carenero, visiting nearby markets, and exploring the island. The food and drinks were fantastic, especially the Atlantis Colors cocktail and the bacon cheeseburger. The location was perfect because it felt peaceful and relaxing while still being close to everything. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. I’ve only been home a day and I’m already looking at dates to come back. I would absolutely recommend Cosmic Crab to anyone visiting Bocas, especially solo travelers looking for a place where they’ll feel welcomed and cared for."

"Pool was not only closed but there were people in it running jackhammers starting at 8:00 AM. When I asked to be let out of my reservation I was told that I should have seen the word pool crossed out in the hotel description (forget the photo of a full pool). My bathroom sink did not have hot water and the bathroom smelled in general. Wish I had stayed somewhere else."

"Excellent location and overall clean. We enjoyed our stay there. It was quiet and surrounded by trees but short walk to Skully's - a good bar & restaurant by the beach and short taxi to the town center. The dipping pool was nice. Bed and bath were comfortable. The room was clean but it had a musty smell like it needs airing. The kitchen is located outside and was well supplied with kitchenware. We didn't get any advance instructions for check-in so I had to call the property owner for instructions. The owner was otherwise responsive via Whatsapp since then. The signage and entrance to the property can be easily missed, and we had to direct our taxi drivers where to stop (Skully's is a landmark they're familiar with. We just ask them to stop before it). Overall, I recommend the place and would return again."

"Staying at Lula’s was such a treat! Tammy made every aspect of our stay comfortable. Each morning a yummy breakfast was made to order from 1 of 3 choices each day. The upstairs has a great covered porch that we loved to sit and watch the world go by. The weather was toasty each day, but coming back to the room with A/C was such a great way to cool off. We also found the location perfect, just a few blocks off of the more active spots, so we could easily walk 5 minutes to be part of the hustle and bustle in town, but could also get back to the calm and quiet of Lula’s super quick. Definitely would stay here again! "

"We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Oasis Bluff Beach! The staff made us feel at home and attended to our every need. Our room opened to the front deck overlooking the beach and ocean. What a view for our early morning coffee as well as for our evening cocktails...truly peaceful. We went on nature hikes both on our own and with a biologist and saw monkeys, sloths, dart frogs, birds and lizards. The restaurant on site is fantastic! We ate so much fresh ceviche! All of the food is delicious and the drinks are very yummy! They even brew their own tonic for wonderful gin and tonics. We will definitely be back."
