"Hotel was what you would expect from a slightly outdated beach hotel. Room was very spacious. Even thou the beds are not that comfortable . They are on metal Frame boxes. The fridge/ cook top in the room were clean but the actual floor was disgusting. We had to request a broom and mop. We couldn't walk in socks or barefoot as the bottoms of our feet turned jet black. "We try and stay here at the Schooner when in Va Beach. Pretty affordable and the amenities are great. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are very clean. We did notiice that there is some aging and wear in the rooms. Our hot tub needed to be resurfaced and shut off multiple times. Issues that can be resolved. All in all its a really great hotel. Thanks again"
