"Amazing hotel located away from the hustle and bustle of Nice. The concierge, Sissy, a lovely lady made us feel very welcome and taken care of. Very nice chats with her. We stayed in room 216. Quite spacious. Everything worked well. Room had all the possible extras you can think of - coffee maker, electric tea kettle, fridge, tv, safe etc. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast buffet was great quality as well, it’s 20 euro per person if you pay at the hotel so I suggest opting for the expedia breakfast option. Location is quiet and serene. About 25 mins away from Old Nice. Outdoor area and the pool are very nice. All around a very good quality hotel at a great price. Only complaint is the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. The shower itself was great. Parking was also included."

"Nice hotel, well kept, and what you would expect from a Marriot. Rooms were tastefully done and had a quality feel about them. Staff were somewhat mixed... very low attention to service.... a couple of them were very friendly - but what i assume was the manager on the check in/out desk couldn't have been ruder or more judgemental if he tried - on multiple occasions. Given we had just come from the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como who couldn't have been nicer, this single man really let it down. Not sure who he thinks he is, but perhaps he should remember he is only a hotel manager... of a 4 star hotel - not the owner of a 5 star high end Boutique."

"Despite the website saying that the rooms were "fully equipped", the fridge had been disabled (presumably to increase bar takings) which was not good news in the very hot weather. The menu of the in house restaurant was unimaginative and the waiter was surly. The hotel catered overwhelmingly for tennis players so that there were no (or only a few) car parking spaces if you returned in the middle of the day. The breakfasts were good as was the cleaning of the rooms."

"It was fine. I purchased an apartment with two twin beds and was only given one full bed, and they didn’t make it right. The air conditioner was broken and I had to fix it myself. Be advised you are responsible for providing your OWN toilet paper and trash bags after the first one. They also do not supply enough towels. When they “clean” the room after a week stay, they only change towels, they DO NOT take out trash or actually clean. Pool is nice, but very limited hours. The rooms were pretty dirty, cobwebs and dirt everywhere, but if you are looking for somewhere cheaper and convenient to bus stops, it’s ok."

"Having stayed in three Ibis hotels this week I was disappointed with this one. The room was small and the bathroom/shower badly needed refurbishing as the bath was too high to easily get in and out of to shower safely. The TV had no English channels accept BBC news, My evening meal consisted of a bowl of lettuce with three pieces of breaded chicken with two halves of tomato and my partner had raw beef with a spoonful of mashed potato. Breakfast was just as dismal as none of the items were replenished when they had been used by other customers as there were no staff members to speak to. Very disappointing and over priced."
