The guys here are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable with the best hospitality of anywhere we stayed on Jordan. This really was the highlight of our trip! "This is one of the best camps I've been into at Wadi Rum; The location is amazing inside the the protected area; While all camps are claiming the same but this is not the case; This camp is not surrounded or close the main road; it is inside the desert where you need to drive for 8Km to reach it; so it is calm and quite; the staff are greate and cooperative; the food and the service is very good. You won't beleive the desert can be beautiful till you see this . "

"Well located and comfortable. We really loved our stay, the owner is really nice and helped us with so much things. Big balcony with a support where you can dry your clothes. 2 min from the fort and lots of restaurants in the area. Also we arrived with an early flights and he let us check in earlier very appreciated. "

"Desert Bird Camp is one of 35 camps in Wadi Rum. The owner can be easily contacted via WhatsApp and he replies very promptly. I did the 5 hour 4x4 tour offered by the camp. It was undoubtedly the highlight of our Jordan trip. All meals were of high quality and delicious. In the evening we all sat around the camp fire to chat with the local guides and cook. "The guys picked us up in a rickety and bad condition car and then changed us into yet another worst car. Please be aware that if you don't take their 10JD dinner they will start behaving badly with you. So we ended up taking their dinner which was just ok. But the worst part was during their forced early breakfast before 8 am, we decided to not go for their overcharged desert Safari in their bad condition car, they asked us to go back to the town walking on the sad. Such a horrible thing to say....
