Almeria has an authenticity that keeps it true to its spanish culture. The evenings have a particularly good vibe. Sadly lack of respect (graffiti etc.) for some of the town was all too evident.

"It had a unique room floorplan. We had 3 in our party. So we wound up with a "two bedroom suite" kind of. It was different but it worked. They had beautiful wood floors!"

I liked Almeria. I loved the wine and tapas. the gardens are super and statues. The old town, shops, relaxed atmosphere very nice. I felt safe all the time. I am recovering from breast cancer and it was a lovely calm place to go. Thank you Almeria x

We only ventured just outside of the hotel, but we found a great Italian restaurant just next to the hotel where the staff were really friendly and the meal was excellent.
