Only negatives is we couldn’t check in earlier than 4pm and then even after 4pm we had to check with the desk to get our room because the text that is was ready “didn’t go through”. Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. "The Benchmark was lovely. The morning break fast was perfect. We had room 7 and the view and the deck was lovely. Room was tiny it comfortable - not much room for luggage - I was on a long trip before so I just took out what I needed and left the rest in the car. Parking is tight - we were there in offseason - so could see how that could be an issue in the summer months. P-town was fantastic as well! "
